This is nice pub with a focus on restaurant not a drinkers place really. The food was above average pub food, served piping hot and the portions were very good. Nice decoration, clean and tidy - all to be recommended. The landlord did everything including clearing the tables - well done him! One suggestion would be to avoid calling the...

We arrived at about 12.10 pm for lunch and appeared to be the first customers of the day. My partner requested a soft drink (she was driving) and was told she was really pushing the boat out; not the most customer friendly repartee. We were then shown to a very small two person table and I enquired of the same...

Great evening well done to Jackie and Ian and everyone to helped bring last nights Garden Party to fruition. Despite some showers the entertainment and food was superb. That Pigeon and Venison Pie!! Wow. An amazing amount raised as well.

This is a very local small pub in a village some miles of the A420. Having said that we were made very welcome and given a table straight away. The food was excellent and within the hour we were there the pub filled up for classic Sunday lunches. This was a lunch stop to break up a long journey. If...

Just stayed here the 1 night after visiting Oxford and Blenheim palace. Had a very nice evening meal sat in the bright conservatory, then a drink at the bar. Had a very nice English breakfast in the morning, the staff were very nice and helpful and would recommend a stay here if just passing through.

Only had a drink here. Sat in garden whilst watching the traffic pass through Charney. If this is not how you roll then you can sit in another garden to the side of the pub. When we were there it was very quiet and very peaceful.

The food was ok. Yes I could have made better at home and I know it isn't just about that...but when you are having a lunch treat and the club sandwich is a bit dry...a bit too dry, and the burger is ok, but you could make better at home, it is a bit of a let down. Soft drinks...
