Such a wonderful place to stay. The staff were brilliant. We (wife and I) arrived late at night and had nothing to eat. Nothing was open, so the lady on reception went totally out of her way and prepared a platter fit for a King (including cake she had baked with her very own hands!) If you are looking for...

This is country french at its best!!! A beautiful and calm garden setting. It is a 3 star hotel, but adequate in every way. Clean and charming. Delicious breakfast served in the garden. A warm welcome and great service by a charming staff that only wants to please. Free parking. Swimming pool was such a treat. The village was delightful...

This was our first time at a rural gastro-inn in France, and we had a lovely experience. The hotel is 'rustic' in the good sense--simple, charming, modern, comfortable. Our room had a little balcony, where we could sit in the sun reading our books. The village is tiny, with little to see, but worth a stroll. The restaurant is just...

The rooms are chic spartan ..spacious but they needed to be as the bathroom was open plan..there was a sep lu ! The large school 200m away meant you did not need to set an alarm for 0800..much noise ..like wise church clock bonging away. The michelin * rest was ok..but not star stuff..we felt the chef was just cruising...

Dear Sir, Effectively we are in a small village with a school and a Church.. We are really sorry to hear that your visit wasn't totally up to your expectations. Our breakfats is maybe expensive but it's only fresh products and not with bottle of orange juice or industrial croissant etc. Thank anyway for bringing your disappointment to our attention...

Absolutely loved this place. What a charming and quaint hotel, with its stone walkways, manicured garden and lawn areas, and swimming pool. So relaxing - a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the c'ote, and good as a stopping place before or after visiting the town of Gourdon (which I also Highly recommend)

The rooms are comfortably furnished with a/c. There is an attractive swimming pool in the garden, and extensive lawns with chairs and sun loungers. Breakfast which is served on the pretty terrace is delicious and includes a bottle of locally produced violet syrup to add to the creamy yogurt. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but the very...

Have just returned from five nights at the Hotel du Clos which was a most delightful experience. We had two rooms in the main house so didn't have our own terrace but the view over the rural countryside & smell of bougainvillea when we opened our shutters more than made up for it. It is full of rustic charm, amazingly...

was it the fragrant jasmine, lavender and rosemary? or the expansive lawn? or the swimming pool? or having breakfast outside? or the michelin-starred restaurant just down the road? or the teapot-teacup lamp and other eating utensils decor in the room? obviously it was all of these features, and more. it's always such a treat to unexpectedly find a place that...

We stayed here for several days with our almost 2 year old daughter. We rented a car and found Hotel du Clos to be perfect distance from restaurants and shops in Antibes. We stayed here for a couple of nights and thought everything was excellent. We stayed in a room in the main house with a terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. Service was great, very friendly and the only drawback is that although the breakfast was very good, it was not really worth the 15 Euro per person per day charged. I...
