The hotel has 15 rooms, 12 in a two storey block (no lift) and 3 deluxe 'wine barrel' shaped detached rooms. Our room was large with rather spartan furniture and a nice balcony overlooking fields and the countryside. We found it a bit strange that after using their nice room coffee machine, on the first morning we were charged for 'coffee pods' for the machine there after. A good size swimming pool with about 20 sunbeds, some needing attention, which generally are used by guests in the late afternoon when the heat of the sun is lower. There are no sun shades. Breakfast is a buffet type, with a reasonable choice, and their machine dispenses has a good range of really nice coffee. At 3 breakfast meals we took, we were only offered eggs once, I think you need to ask, we also heard bacon mentioned. Dinner was good, food well cooked and presented, and reasonably priced. Their efficient waiter was an asset to the hotel. Several reviews mentioned the dogs, during our stay they was kept away from the guest area only appearing on the BBQ night. There is a bit of 'dog barking' from other places in the surrounding area. The main draw back, we found, was the hotel's isolated location, we were quoted 600 pesos for an Uber cab to town. Luckily here, the food and staff are both excellent and we had a very pleasant stay.…
Located in a great spot close to wineries, water rafting, thermal spas and more. The atmosphere is restful, surrounded by vineyards and grape vines it’s a great place to connect with nature as you watch the adorable birds play in the refreshing pool. The staff is very nice they try their very best to make your stay pleasant and work hard to accommodate every request. Clean spacious rooms and we stayed in the superior room room 9 - which had a balcony and was beautiful to look out over the hotel’s winery. Definitely recommend trying the onion and cheese empanadas and the Villa Mansa wine. My only regret is I didn’t buy more bottles of their wine as I left in a hurry to the airport after an amazing massage and forgot to buy more! Few additional notes ... for those of you who like to work while on vacation. WiFi here is spotty and slow so beware for anyone planning to work remotely from the hotel. Book reservations far in advance as activities book up quickly and triple confirm with the hotel your reservation is booked. Overall had a wonderful stay and hope to return very soon! …
My husband and I spent 5 nights in one of the cuvee wine barrel rooms and had the best time ever! The hotel is situated on a beautiful peaceful property and we really enjoyed how close it was to local wineries. We walked to two and use taxis for all others, which were reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful in calling us taxis and providing recommendations for local restaurants. The spa is serene and very relaxing. The included breakfast was a great way to start a day of wine tastings and dinner was also delicous. The highlight of our stay was definitely being greeted by the super sweet dogs at the front door whenever we would come back after outings. The only regret is that we couldn't stay even longer!
This hotel is tucked away at the back down a narrow driveway and not at all appealing. It had about 6 dogs running around the hotel and barking and being very disruptive during dinner trying to get food. The staff said they would book me into wineries that we wanted to visit but did not. We had to do it ourselves by phone because you can’t get a tasting at any winery in Mendoza without a booking. It felt very disorganised with no one in charge. The rooms were large and ok though the air conditioner was very noisy. We would not recommend it for the price. It was not a spa
We stayed 4 nights at Villa Mansa and loved it. We used it as a base for exploring the mountains and the Maipu and Uco Vallies. The room we had was called Malbec, all the rooms are wines. It was large and airy with a big balcony. The hotel was small and intimate and had lovely helpful staff especially Herman. The restaurant was lovely in the evening and for breakfast. The staff were very Helpful with tips on what to do etc. The pool was great to cool down to n the afternoon. Would highly recommend.
