We only had one night in this area and were glad we found this B&B. Our hosts were both friendly, rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were, too. The location is very scenic. Breakfast was very good. We all had smaller portions of more traditional breakfast items like eggs, sausage, bacon and tomatoes along with yogurt and fruit. We enjoyed talking to our hosts and would stay here again if we're back in the area.

We always stay with Phil in her Bayview B & B when we are in the Glandore area. The place is always spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast. The views out over the bay are just beautiful. Phil and Joe are warm, welcoming people with an amount of knowledge of things to see and do in West Cork. Although COVID has hit Glandore hard, it should not deter anyone from staying in the Bayview. It's lovely and I will certainly book in the next time we're in the area.

We stayed a few days here with two other couples while renewing our very longstanding relationship with the lovely village of Glandore. Two of our friends had stayed here before and raved about the place, expectations were high and we weren’t disappointed. The location could not be better, literally overlooking the harbour with a private garden to enjoy the view. Two decent pubs serving great food within a hundred yards. Private parking in a tiny village where spaces are at a premium, specifically reserved for you when out for the day. The rooms are clean and airy, all en-suite, with all the usual touches- tea and coffee, biscuits, WiFi etc, and the breakfasts are amazing. But what really sets this establishment apart is the owner, Phil, who could not be more welcoming. Fantastic cooked and continental breakfasts, linen changed daily, bottles of wine ( lots of bottles of wine!) chilled on request, ice on tap, nothing was too much trouble, and all delivered with calm efficiency. This is incredible value for money and a rare opportunity to enjoy true Irish hospitality in a premium location, a great place to relax and enjoy some down time. Thoroughly recommended.

Glandore or the Italian Rivera 🤔... could have been either with the view and the weather. The welcome and charm however were definitely Irish and couldn't have been better. Phil couldn't have done any more to make our stay perfect. Warmth, local knowledge and recommendations for walks and places of interests and the most delicious stewed rhubarb ever for breakfast ( reminded me of my grandmothers). Our bathroom was spotless, modern and equipped with a good array of toiletries. Our room was spotless, crisp white linens, tea/ coffee, wifi, TV, and the most amazing view from the window onto sailing boats and beautiful water views. The lights from Union Hall at night reflecting on the water was simply magical. Anyone who finds fault here is being unfair. Will be back in a shot and would recommend it to all my friends.

Just home from staying for a few nights in glorious Glandore with Phil at her Bayview B&B. This is hospitality the way it should be. Spotlessly clean room, freshly cooked breakfast, incredible views and all the while observing COVID regulations. Phil is a great host and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room had spectacular views over Glandore bay, we were 50m walk to the village pubs for lunch & dinner, and we relaxed in her garden enjoying the lovely June weather. Highly recommended - we will return.

I don’t usually do reviews but felt I had to review this B&B as it was such a lovely place to stay. Phil is a wonderful host and her husband Joe they are both so friendly. Fantastic views from rooms and breakfast was top notch. Phil recommended we travel to Mizen Head and we didn’t regret it. We will definitely be back again. Eleanor, Bernie, Marie & Willie

Bay View House B&B in my opinion can only be described as a hidden Gem. While the obvious is the spectacular view from almost every bedroom. It is simply breathtaking. Proprietors Phil & Jo go beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Phil’s breakfast consists of large selection of fresh fruits & berry's & yogurts. Delicious homemade brown bread & scones, and of course what ever you want to add to the “full Irish”. Less than five minutes up the street you are sitting in two beautiful Restaurants/Bar’s. My Husband & I will certainly be back to this most beautiful spot. Thank you Phill & Jo Hamilton for making this a memorable weekend . Dermot & Liz OGorman.
