Located on the highway this motel is convenient to all local attractions - the rooms are large and very clean - road noise is zero. Our room was at the back of the complex with a view to the hills and native bush gardens. The weather turned quite chilly during our stay - we were snug and warm. Take the... More

Drove in on a not so nice weather day seeking a quiet cosy room after an uncomfortable room the night before. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and provided with lots of helpful suggestions for walks, meals and activities. Room was very spacious, clean and felt like home. Capable kitchenette, comfy bed, room heater adequate, Great shower! Lovely walk... More

We stayed here at both ends of a winter Nelson Lakes tramping trip. Rooms were clean and easily warmed up and we got some great advice about what to watch out for on the track in winter from our experienced mountaineering hosts. Lock box for our stuff was really handy too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others considering... More

We stayed 2 nights in number 6 during the week so we could ski at Rainbow Ski-field and walk the tracks around the Lake Rotoiti. Lots of room for the 3 of us in the living area. Slat bed was a bit hard but we were very warm with heaters in both bedrooms and the living area. Great shower. Beautiful... More

We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra night. The hosts were really friendly and our two young daughters had heaps of fun using the snow sleds that the hosts offered us during our stay. A fantastic location with super warm and comfortable rooms. Only a short walk to cafes and the school playground next door is... More

We stayed in the family cabin. Heaters was already on when we booked in very late. Very spacious cottage with a very nice kitchen. Woke up to watch the rabbits play on the grass. I can recommend this to anyone. Lake Rotoiti 5 minutes drive away.

Not sure what to expect but this is one of the nicest motels we've ever stayed in. Superbly clean studio apartment with lovely decor and nice furnishings. A short stroll to town, good parking, nice views from the unit and very friendly reception staff. Couldn't be faulted actually. We will be back. Thank you.

I stayed there twice for one night. Large and very modern, comfotable self-contained room. Very welcoming reception and information about what to see and do. Great value for money. My room was at the back, away from the main road and adjacent to a lovely river-side walking track that takes you to the beatiful St Armaud lake.

We weren't sure what to expect at this hotel as it didn't seem to have many reviews, but were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the one bedroom motel rooms. The room was very generous and clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the lakes and set off on... More

This motel is an example of how a natural ecological has to be. All the rooms are in firm wood so no noise of the neighbours. There is no asphalt or concrete. Everybody can park his car just beside the room because there is enough space between the chalets. My room/chalet at the end had a view on the wood... More
