We came two years ago and we falled in love with this place and the owner. Today we arrived and our feeling was mixed. Indeed the owner changed and this is now a new family who’s in charge of this hotel-B&B. I usually look at Trip Adviser advices for choosing the best place but usually I don’t take time to write comments. It has to be extremely positive or negative to motivate me for writing a message. We booked for 4 days and after only one day I can ensure you that this place is even better than before. The situation remains the same and of course this is still beautiful. What are the changes ? The owner. (one father and his son + girlfriend) therefore we’ve noticed some changes in the restaurant, reception, people,... We are more than happy.. the welcome was great and everything is clean (rooms, swimming pool.,..) We recommend you the menu at the restaurant. The chief is exceptional! Maybe tonight I’ve just eaten the best meat I have ever eat ! Believe me, you won’t regret your stay :) …
Spent a fabulous 2 nights here. Very warm welcome. Large double room (but no aircon). Great atmosphere. Had a wonderful 7/8 course dinner (we lost count!) with delicious wines. Wonderful hosts - made to feel like part of the family. Pool fantastic - 20m and really clean. Definitely on our list of places to revisit.
This was our first stay at an agriturismo, and although it was only for one night it was well worth it. The room was not very large and lacked aircon, but there was a lovely swimming pool and a wonderful first floor loggia to sit in and relax. The hostess, Guiliana, didn't appear to speak English but was very willing to provide beers and anything else we wanted - we also had free run of all the cakes and delicacies on offer. A very nice dinner, with home made limoncello or Vinsanto - so nice that I bought a bottle of each! A relaxing and very ambient place to stay.
What a wonderful place! Giuliana, our hostess, was such a warm, welcoming person who made us feel very much at home. The room was spacious, a very comfy huge bed, and everything that one needs. The breakfast was a joy, sitting on the large terrace overlooking the olive groves and hills beyond. Giuliana dies a great scramblespd egg, as well as all the other Tuscan delights. She excels in her evening meal - superb! We spent 5 nights here, and would certainly want to return.
We stayed for five days at this wonderful bed and breakfast, and I am counting the days until I can come back. Giuliana was a wonderful host. She makes her own limoncello, sweet wines, olive oil, marmalades, baked goods, jarred figs, pesto, etc... Her meals were wonderful and have the charm that you would hope to find in Tuscany. It's so lovely and her hospitality was outstanding. She doesn't speak much English, but she understands the majority of what we were trying to communicate. The location is a little tricky with very windy roads to get to other places, but the charm of the place makes up for the slightly out of the way location (we visited several other cities while we stayed here). Just a lovely place to stay.
