Nice located Hotel in walking distance to a beautiful beach with a hotel section. The rooms are coming with a small balcony which is nice. The beds are not really comfortable. Houskeeping was doing a good job and was always friendly and greeting. Breakfast was good. The only think is, the coffee could be better. Maybe the service could be a bit more friendly. The private parking in the back of the hotel is very narrow. it's a bit difficult if you drive a bigger car.
We found ourselves amongst friends there, by occasion, from both Italy and, as it happens, from Holland. We have spent many agreeable evenings at the terrace with good conversations and great laughs. The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly, both at the reception, the bar and, most notably in the breakfast and dining room. The food was good. The room was very pleasant, nice and quiet, not too hot, and with a proper bathroom. My compliments, too, to the cleaning staff. Several staff members came up with good suggestions, at our request, as to where to spend a nice day or make a tour. Please consider visiting Livorno, Lucca, Volterra and San Gimiginano if you have the chance – should you not prefer to stay at the beaches (from which incidentally you are able to see the islands in the distance). Elba, too would have been an option but we ran out of time. So, in sum, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!…
We ended up in this hotel by chance. It's really a 3-star hotel, with basic list of needs - clean, well situated with its own beach. However, there are some disappointing things that can spoil your holiday - very poor breakfast (bad coffee, small choice), bad wifi connection and unfriendly staff (except one girl at the reception). They were quite rude when we came down for breakfast. They asked us to seat outside on the sun, when there where free tables inside, which they said we're already set for dinner!!! I wouldn't recommend the restaurant at the hotel as the same stuff refused to give us the table because we didn't order in advance even though there were several free tables. Maybe it's something personal, but we didn't have any argument or an issue with them.
The hotel was really weak in all sense!!! The beds in the room were too hard and uncomfortable! The food was horrible, after two days we had to go out and eat somewhere else because our stomach couldn't handle it anymore! One of the days the maids even forgot to give us new towels!! The beach was nice and the bar at the beach was really good, but its another hotel's bar!!
Very good hotel, all was clean, pool was ok and food was form bufet - 3course menu every day with antipasti (bruschette, salads, etc) Wifi was bad and slowly and not free of charge.. Parking was full during our vacations.. We parked car near the hotel, about 600m, but paid parking
