We got married here on 25th June. We chose it after looking at every venue in the county. We had various specific requirements inc our own horse, an I'll relative who got upgraded and difficult timings . Nothing was too much trouble

After a few weeks of looking for a wedding venue we settled on Maesmawr Hotel and definitely were not disappointed. From our initial meeting, Lee, the wedding coordinator, was nothing but helpful. He was full of tips and wedding do's and don'ts. It was brilliant to have someone at the venue with such great wedding planning experience..as we had none!...

We recently got married at Maesmawr and I have to say we couldn't possibly have asked for more! The venue was beautiful, had been organised to perfection by Lee and his team and the food was outstanding! Lee was so attentive to everything we wanted for the day and did all he could to make sure it happened. The food...

We attending a wedding recently, and we live local to Maesmawr, lovely setting and building, however I was disappointed ti find they do not supply Fruit shoot (or similar) for children so they are given a glass to drink from, and it is not relaxing to watch your 4 year old daughter drink from a glass before rushing off again...

Expected far more for the price of a suite (room 23). No internet working in room. Had not been told when booking that toilet and bathroom downstairs. No fixed heating. Noisy portable heater. Excellent breakfast and pleasant enough staff. Lunchtime function with 70 others very successful. Just let down by overpriced accommodation.

Lovely place with friendly staff. Good portion sizes. Served with wales in mind. The venue is marvellously presented period property with many original features. The best was the lovely cosy log fire in the sitting room. Well worth a visit.

We stayed 15th October 2016 absolutely perfect from beginning to end. As always we had our 4 year old daughter with us who was the only child in the hotel, as is more for couples I'd say. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate the 3 of us even though they don't have family rooms....

My friend and I stayed here for a meal and an overnight stay. Lovely surroundings and wonderfully restored period property with many original features, especially my timber framed bedroom. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ate A la carte in the restaurant and while the meal was Ok, it was a little disappointing for the price. I felt...
