We booked a last minute trip to glenshee ski centre and decided to stay here. It was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was lovely inside. I could not fault the room, it had everything you needed and also fast wifi. The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and a lot of character with...

We turned up without warning to be told their restaurant was fully booked. As we were about the leave the owner appeared and offered us another room with a reduced menu as they were catering for two large parties. The service and food we ordered was excellent. It is almost 30 years since we last visited this hotel where pub...

Very much a country pub. Don't expect the Ritz but you will get a warm welcome, good crack, comfortable stay and good wholesome food. Bar is well stocked and prices very reasonable, in fact whole place is good value. Dog friendly too. Highly recomended

Lovely wee hotel in attractive rural setting. Great dinner, couthy bar/restaurant, very comfortable stylish rooms and friendly staff/proprietor - What more do you want? Perfect for a short break away from the rat race. We'll be back.

We celebrated my sister's 40th birthday meal here. We were in the dining room away from the main bar as we had two children under the age of 10 months with us and didn't want to disturb their evening out! Fortunately both kids were great but we could relax in comfort. The specials board was very nice, I had a...

The menu for other meals is on blackboard and they look very inviting also had a look at the Christmas menu and I'm sure that will be booked out soon. That's it for 2016. Will be...

We stayed for a night and joined friends for a dinner in the evening. It's a fairly remote but beautiful spot and they were busy as there are few other facilities in the area. Despite this we were very well looked after - there was a wide range of menu choices and we were advised of how many portions of...

We spent a Friday night here in late July. For a fairly remote & small wayside inn the place was heaving and no wonder; the setting is lovely, the food and service were great. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and the morning's breakfast of scrambled eggs with freshly smoked salmon an absolute treat. I've visited the Glenisla...

We spent a night here when walking the Cateran Trail. The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the area quiet and peaceful. Good beer on tap and a beer garden available for when the sun shines. The food is excellent too.

It's the first time I've been to Glenisla Hotel for many years and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The hotel used to boast Egon Ronay rated food and was excellent... So I was very impressed to see that the standard was still as good. Well done. We will definitely be back.
