The hotel is situated about ten minutes walk from the High Street in Cullen and the views from the front rooms is striking even in stormy weather. Overall the hotel is a little dated and although my room had been restyled I would have preferred a better mattress. The fan for the bathroom came on when putting clothes in the... More

A friend and I cycled from Edinburgh to Inverness along cycle route 1 in June 2015, staying in twin rooms at 9 bed and breakfast/hotels along the way. At Bayview Hotel we received a warm welcome from our Danish hostess who was very helpful and was the only proprietor who offered to carry our bags to our room!. Our bikes... More

This is a lovely hotel which was clean, tidy and had a great bay and harbour view. The bar and lounge area is very spacious. The only downside is the hotel is dated and could do with some modernisation. The owner was lovely and friendly. Parking on the street outside. Cullen itself is a beautiful part of coastline.

we had a lovely one night stay here. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom wasn't particularly modern but it was clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful and provided a wonderful buffet style breakfast with lots of choice along with home-made bread rolls. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here... More

I stopped here for one night after a long day traveling. The lady owner was very welcoming even though she wasn't expecting me. She showed me to a warm, well decorated room. I grabbed a beer and went and watched the sun go down across the bay. An absolutely amazing view. The next morning, I had an excellent cooked breakfast... More

Stayed at the Bayview Hotel in December for a short break. It is a warm, friendly and homely hotel offering a fantastic cooked breakfast with freshly home baked bread. I hope to visit again in the near future.

A lovely and well maintained hotel. It is evident that a lot of passion is running the business and guests are so well hosted. We felt wanted and cared for and were somehow sad having to leave. The hotel location is magical and the rooms are cosy and well equipped plus the views justify the name of the establishment idyllically.

A small Hotel operated by the owner who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome - terrific breakfast with fresh fruit, freshly baked bread rolls and the usual cooked options. Anne was also very helpful with directions to local sights, things to do etc. The rooms are old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. There is a great... More

Anne was extremely helpful and always interested - without being intrusive - in what her guests were doing. She gave us a list of recommended restaurants and we were happy with the ones we tried. The breakfast offered a good choice and the breakfast room is very homey. We didn't try the honesty bar but it's a great idea. A... More

I stayed two nights for a work trip. Anne welcomed me on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. I stayed in a first floor family room and it was clean, cosy and spacious. The decor could possibly do with a touch of updating but this is a minor thing. Great service throughout my stay and the breakfast was great!
