We spent two nights at Ridgeway Lodge as part of a short break in the Chilterns. Our room was comfortable and clean, with an ensuite bathroom and views out over the garden. We were given tea on arrival and a warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent. But the true nature of our hostess was revealed when I got sick overnight. Miv...

I try and treat my guests as family, and if someone is poorly, the best thing they need is a place they feel at ease.

This is in the most beautiful location. The views are spectacular: across lovely lawns, the fields and the valley. The hosts were professional, friendly and extremely welcoming. The accommodation is in a separate annex with 3 bedrooms: the upstairs twin ensuite and the double and twin downstairs sharing an beautifully appointed, modern shower room with toiletries provided. Beds are very...

Resuming the last leg of the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough with my walking companion, we stayed at the Ridgeway Lodge. Good choice! My elderly walking companion and I have completed over a 1000 miles walking together through England and Scotland in varying degrees of comfort in overnight accommodation and the ' Lodge was up there among the best. We were...

My colleague and I stayed here for one night and although we didn't spend a great deal of time here, the time we did spend here was lovely. It really is like a home away from home! Miv and John are brilliant hosts and the house and its gardens are beautiful. We stayed in the upstairs room which is lovely...

I stayed in the ground floor twin room, which offers excellent views through two windows on different sides of the house. The refurbished shower was absolutely fantastic (even though it was not quite ensuite). Furthermore, there's a big sitting room which overlooks the huge gardens, as well as a small (but very well equipped) kitchen, both for guests' use. It's...

My wife and I enjoyed a final night in the Ridgeway Lodge with Miv and John after a marvelous week on the canals. We were so glad we had friend book this delightful B&B before our long journey back to Virginia, USA. What a relaxing time and a wonderful English Breakfast. Everything was so wonderful, including conversations with our hosts.
