Only there for 2 nights but will be remembered for a long time. I can go on about all the reasons to go to Morar and stay at Harlosh Guest House but they will be obvious once there. Where can you step off a train and be welcomed before the train has left the station. I want to say a...

Stayed the last two days in September to catch the end of the trout season. Room was cosy and clean with all the amenities, I.e. delicious home made cake, biscuits, WiFi! Maggie and Phil were perfect hosts, I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Brilliant situation for the hills round Morar, and quieter than mallaig itself. Just...

We spent a night in Harlosh B&B last weekend, and we can't wait to go back! Morar is magical, and Maggie and Phil made us feel really welcome. The view from our room was beautiful, and we wished we could have stayed longer, just watching the birds and the sea (and tasting the fab lemon drizzle cake!) If you are...

We stayed in Harlosh for 2 nights at the beginning of September. Maggie and Phil who own the guest house make you feel so welcome (made all the more welcoming with the homemade lemon drizzle cake left in our room after our long drive). Beautiful views over the silver sands and straight across from the train station (a must for...

We had a wonderful stay here but sadly only for one night - this B&B is one of the best I have ever stayed in. What made it so memorable was the kind hosts, beautiful location with stunning views, and the many very thoughtful touches in our room, such as binoculars to admire the scenery / wildlife. Our host gave...

Really nice place and hosts. The room was warm and cosy, and we could see the silver sands from the window. Delicious, high quality breakfast. Everything was perfect, highly recommended place to stay!

We stayed here on our way to and from the Isle of Rum - we really did arrive as strangers and return as friends. Lovely B&B, with fabulous breakfast. We were in Room 3, which was medium sized with a wonderful sea view. Great attention to detail, right down to providing different coloured towels so you know which one is...

We stayed at the Harlosh Guest House twice on our most recent trip to Scotland - once on our way to Eigg, and a week later on our way to Knoydart. We couldn't have been happier with the Harlosh. Phil and Maggie are wonderful hosts, and their home is really delightful. On our first visit, we stayed in room one....

Thanks Maggie and Phil for three marvellous days in your B&B. You are so kind, generous and thoughtful (the BBQ at the Silver banks!!). Brilliant breakfast (wishing list every evening for the next morning) - best we had in two weeks Scotland. We loved your tip going down to Glenfinnan Hotel for a nice dinner! Honestly: You can´t make a...
