Not been to a Travelodge for some years and was swayed by the advert telling me it was all updated and comfortable. I do think it has improved since last time I used them the bed was better, the single bed though is terrible! Hard, lumpy, and not comfortable at all. There is no place to put anything, no table...

This Travelodge was ideal for our purpose - somewhere to crash after a gig at the Tranmere Rovers football stadium. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and there is a larger hotel just over the road with amenities such as a bar serving pub food, an Italian restaurant and a Starbuck's.

Clean, well maintained Travelodge. Quiet even though I was on the ground floor facing the road. Helpgful and friendly staff. Facilities immediately opposite for coffee and meals. Good links into Liverpool city centre. Taxis within 10 minutes, buses nearby and Port Sunlight train station a mile away. All about 20minutes travel into Liverpool. Good access from nearby motorways.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Mini fridge would have been perfect. The walls felt like they were very thin, in the morning I could hear a lot of upstairs movement, but luckily not any other time. The bed very comfortable, pillows were great. We had the window and we could hear a lot of traffic but we were close...

My wife and I recently stayed, for 3 nights, in a double bedroom. Whilst everything was clean, well presented and the staff were very good, the fact that there was only one chair in the bedroom, and the bed was too high to sit on (very comfortable to sleep on, meant that my wife and I had the take turns...

Ideal hotel for what we needed - 3 of us visiting Liverpool for football and a look round the city. Located across the Mersey but just a short bus trip or drive to the Birkenhead Tunnel and straight into the city and waterfront area. Very helpful staff, good advice on which bus to take into town, enabling us to leave...

Had a family room as taking my 9yr old boy to the football, was given room 101 directly above the reception. The noise caused by guest in & out, screaming/shouting, chatting and smoking outside was unbelievable and went on through the night. Room was really hot but couldn't have the window open because of the noise and cigarette smoke coming...

Stayed here for one Saturday night after visiting a friend. As a young female on my own I was given a room on 1st floor without asking. Room was secure and spacious and clean, bathroom small but fine. Huge and comfortable bed. Good internet service. Hotel had no facilities to speak of but I knew this on booking. It is...
