Very friendly, cheerful staff. Only had breakfast, which was perfectly acceptable so cannot comment on the restaurant. The hotel itself reflects the realities of running a hotel from a large old building in that nothing is as slick as in a modern purpose built box. It has character. You boil your kettle on the floor as that is where the...

Thank you for your review. We do have ` friendly and cheerful` staff who enjoy what they do, we have many positive comments about our caring and professional team. There are challenges certainly with a converted Georgian grade 11 listed country house hotel, as opposed to a purpose built facility, but I`d take the unique and quirky features of our...

We chose Ringwood Hall Hotel for our family get together to celebrate a 70th Birthday. Guests travelled from Norfolk, Suffolk, Wiltshire and Shropshire and I can say it was definitely worth all the travelling. Our party was 16 adults and 2 children. From the minute we arrived at the hotel we received excellent service from all of the staff we...

Thank you very much for leaving such a lovely review. Ringwood Hall Hotel`s central UK location is ideal for bringing a group of friends or family together from far and wide. We do have 74 bedrooms, with all the benefits of not being purpose built, so our reception team can allocate rooms from a variety of sizes and layouts, precisely...

A really lovely, comfortable hotel with an adjacent pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Very friendly staff, great restaurant, food and bar. There was nothing not to like. We will definitely be returning as two nights were not enough to explore all the beautiful countryside, villages and of course, the peaks.

Your lovely review splendidly sums up Ringwood Hall Hotel and our facilities to a tee, thankyou so much for posting on this web system. You are right of course, there are so many remarkable historic houses, and attractions in the Peak District that a two night stay is certainly not long enough. Ringwood Hall Hotel is definitely a great base...

Just spent 2 nights here - a Travelzoo offer. Very comfortable room with super king size bed. Ate in the restaurant both nights - the menu was a bit different to the usual offerings, and there was everything you could possibly want for breakfast. The pool, steam room and sauna were delightful too. But above all this excellence, the staff...

My husband brought me a Murder Mystery event and a hotel stay for Christmas. I've been wanting this present for years, so I was very excited. We arrived just after 6pm to Ringwood Hall and I thought it was very beautiful. We had the furthest room, having to walk though low thin corridors which I found interesting and in to...

My wife and I decided to take an early January break, one, just for the heck of it and two, to celebrate our 36th Wedding Anniversary. We had a good look around but decided to plump for a 2 night stay at Ringwood Hall Hotel. So to our arrival on the Sunday the 10/01/16, Reception Staff efficient but, friendly and...

This is the second time we have spent Christmas at Ringwood Hall and I can't praise it high enough. The food is excellent, as is the entertainment, the bedrooms and the staff, who all appear to be local people. The ladies at the Reception desk are the nicest and most helpful you could wish to meet and know everything there...

Our Annual New Years Eve visit, together with friends. Check in was quick and efficient. We stayed in the Gate House feature rooms, which were clean, comfortable and quiet, with good wifi connectivity. We all used the leisure facilities- pool (lovely and warm), sauna and steam room - which are great. The drinks and canapés 'reception' prior to the Ball...

Thankyou for posting your review following your attendance at our New Years Eve Masked Ball. Its really pleasing to hear that you are a regular attendee at this particular event, although it was disappointing to read that you thought the meal was not so good this year, in particular our provision of the Beef Wellington. I stayed at this hotel following a family wedding. We had a double room on the ground floor, to say it was a bit of a trek from reception to the room is an understatement, but that said we didn't mind. Thankyou for posting your review following your attendance at a family wedding. It was pleasing to read that `overall you enjoyed your stay`. but you would have preferred a different room position. First the good points. Our room was large with a massive bed. It was quiet, which is remarkable with the size of the place and when you realise there was a wedding on when we were there (we gather this is a common occurrence).
