We have looked forward to our return to Trehellas House since our last visit in October 2015, and this 6 night visit with 3 friends in March 2017 did not disappoint us. This time my wife and I were in Lanhyrock, a fairly spacious room in the separate block across the carpark, with dual aspect windows overlooking the front, and the...

We stayed for two nights bed & breakfast, and ate dinner in the restaurant on our first night. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our double room was cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent meal in the evening, and freshly cooked breakfast in...

Third short break here with the present owners and just as good as ever. The hotel is well situated for excursions to all parts of Cornwall and offers exceptionally good value short breaks. Food, Staff and service all first rate and have recommended to friends and family. We will return!

I took my mother here today, and had an enjoyable afternoon and a fantastic Sunday lunch. The staff were excellent and very friendly, and the meal I can only describe as fantastic. The owner who seemed to be a very friendly chap even had time to come and sit with my mother and I for a nice chat. All round...

Only there for one night but would definitely return. Hotel was clean, staff are friendly, bed was comfy and price was great. In the morning you have a choice of breakfasts all freshly prepared. We had planned to go to Padstow for an evening meal but ended up staying and eating at the hotel. All four of us were really...

Another great stay at Trehellas. It is lovely to be confident that the need for a special diet will be handled so well. We always stay in the Courtroom which is a lovely space with a large sitting area.

Well after thinking long and hard about writing this review I'm sorry but it has to be stated. Check in ok , room I can only describe as a single with a double bed in it. So the problem all started once we were shown to our room, lovely but small , sink didn't drain and shower took about 15...

If this is what happened, it must have been a different customer. Customers can get Leary and abusive, not allowed to fight your staff's or your corner ,as they slag you off on trip advisor. What a lovely country we live in.

had a very nice stay at trehellas house.we chose the evening meal option and it was tremendous value for money. food was really delicious. if you took the price of the dinner off the total I think we only paid about 20 pound each for our bed and breakfast.!!! Alistair, the owner, went to great lengths to ensure I got...

Had high expectations of this hotel and we weren't going to write this review, but after a very abrupt check out we had a change of heart. Check in was warm and friendly so thank you to the lovely lady for that and for showing us to our room. We chose to dine out on both evenings of our stay...

When you compare a 1 AA rosette restaurant prices with a carvery pub & a Bodmin curry house I will not win, but as you recommend them (we don't) this may set the scene for your other comments. How do you knock a tv off the wall when its remote control. The black mark on the curtain rail is caused...

Typical oldie worldie pub. The room was small but warm and cosy with a comfortable bed. Small bathroom, could only fit one person in at a time. Restaurant was really good and the staff pleasant and helpful.
