Always on Friday at the end of a stayathome holiday we go out for a meal. This time we chose afternoon tea at Boringdon Hall. It is a stunning place, fabulous historic building in beautiful landscape on the edge of Dartmoor. We arrived early which was not an issue at all, we were directed to the Great Hall - complete...

Just returned from a 2-night break here. The spa facilities are compact but very good indeed - but can feel quite crowded in busy periods. The therapists delivering the treatments we had (Raindrop, Muscle Energiser and the Total Holistic Ritual) were outstanding. Rooms in the hotel were small but well-equipped. Evening food is haute cuisine (so quite rich but delicious),...

I booked a spa break for my daughter and i for her 21st and from the moment we arrrived the staff wereso helpful and could not have done more for us our bags were whisked from us and we were shown into the spa for our treatments, amazing and so relaxing, we then went back to reception where the lovely...

The grounds, the building, and the pride invested into making this into a top class hotel are indeed impressive. The friendliness of the welcome and the smiles of most of the staff are pretty good. A seeming lack of experience and certainly lack of formal training of the restaurant service staff is frankly distressing and totally out of context with...

Just one of the best hotel experiences ever. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left it was just great service - nothing was too much trouble. Superbly appointed room, with its own coffee pod machine, bath robes, mini bar and a really comfy bed. And how much for this luxury? Less than £80! Just wow!

This was the second time we stayed here in a matter of weeks and on both visits we were not disappointed. All staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The spa area is a haven and well worth indulging in for as long as you possibly can! Breakfast is superb and there are varied and...

Nothing was too much trouble. Very motivated staff. We stayed with our pet dog and they will even keep an eye on them when you eat or will find somewhere quiet where you can take the pet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

All rooms are en-suite and come fitted with flat screen LCD TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. The new Gaia Spa within the grounds of Boringdon Hall offers luxury spa and wellness facilities. All guests of Boringdon Hall have access to the Gaia Spa facilities and receive 10% off spa treatments.
