Popped in for lunch midweek with a friend and the food was outstanding with an excellent range of dishes. Service was good too. The only let-down was the coffee which was weak and bitter. Lots of local produce too. Would highly recommend (despite the coffee!!).

Myself and my friends visited the Kings Arms during the last week as we were attending the BBC Extra History festival in Malmesbury this pub was quite the find. Whilst it was nine miles from Malmesbury the pub itself was set along a quite country road with ample of parking. The inside of the pub is exactly what you would...

This place is great. Lovely friendly staff who very welcoming and my room "Harrington" was spotless. Only thing I would say is that the evening menu in the pub could be a little more varied, but other than that I would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. We stayed in the room across from the main building. It was wonderfully quiet and nicely furnished, with a luxurious roll too bath. The bar staff in the hotel were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was yummy and good to set you up for a day's walking. Good location and very...

Went to this wonderful location the day after a wedding - it was delightful, the food outstanding and the staff exceptional. It is picturesque, not too expensive (certainly not a rip-off) and good value. I was comfortable and relaxed in this most pleasant environment.

Came down from London for a friend's wedding. Never been to the area before. Beautiful surroundings, the Kings arms fits perfectly within that. Polite staff, promptly greeted, showed to our room and offered dinner. In particular, a tall, young dark haired gentleman was very approachable, smiley and polite, making us feel very comfortable. Interiors and decor are modernly done with...

We stopped at Didmarton on the mid-way point of a 2 day walking trip from Stroud to Bath. The weather had been filthy all day, so it was great to receive a warm welcome and couple of nice pints on arrival. The self-contained 2 bedroom annexe was very nice, big enough for 4 blokes and very good value. The highlight...

We where fortunate enough to stay in this lovely old place last night, great feel to the place. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long while. Spoof the resident dog was a gorgeous little fella. We requested an early entry to our room which for mark and his team was no hassle at all as we...

I eat here quite often and the welcome and ambiance is fantastic. A mixture of locals and travellers passing through, the pub has a lovely atmosphere and caters for family's and Groups and can be either formal or informal. The food is consistently good, with excellent quality ingredients and well cooked. Thoroughly recommend. Added bonus of being a dog friendly...

Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance, each of our cottage-style bed and breakfast rooms have their own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size four poster beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather and Black mattresses and duvets which altogether ensure a relaxing and comfortable night's slumber. Two spacious self-catering cottages are ideal for families and larger parties looking for their own private Cotswolds hideaway.
