Visited this lovely hotel when taking a tour with Brendan vacations. The location is excellent. The hotel is right on the coast, with walking paths that go right up to the water. Dinner was good. I would defiantly go here again.

The outside looks lovely and they do have a fabulous view over the water. After walking one step beyond the lobby, you will see that this place is very dated. The rooms are large but our bathroom was really gross. Looks like it has not changed since 1979. Peeling paint all over the bathroom and look liked moldy area in...

Located on the outskirts of Galway on Galway Bay, so it's somewhat isolated in a residential resort area without any other businesses around. That being said, they have a nice facility, food is available in the restaurant and bar. Bar was fine place to eat, but drinks service slow. Tried the Connemara Irish Whiskey...and found that it tastes very much...

I have al little bit of ambivalence about my experience here which is through no fault of the hotel. Personally, I like a hotel which is near city center with easy walking access to a variety of shopping, restaurants, and local attractions. This hotel was none of these things. HOWEVER, it did have many other redeeming qualities. We had a...

I came across this hotel purely by accident as I was on the road going to towards Galway from Connemara and spotted it, I gave them a call as my usual hotel was full and was happy they had a room for me, I did get nervous when I saw the amount of coaches outside but this made no difference....

We booked on recommendation from our valet at our previous hotel, and were not disappointed. The hotel is on the coast side of R336 and 10-15 min from Galway. We were upgraded to a king overlooking the Galway Bay coastline and the koi pond courtyard, with a bay window the size of the wall and a windowsill on which an...

This is a perfect place to be based overlooking the sea with excellent rooms and facilities (iron). If you can get a sea view it is really worth it. We had the second floor corner room that had huge double aspect windows with an amazing view. The spa and leisure facilities are small but more than adequate with an outdoor...

We stayed for 2BB1D in May. It was a return trip from a lovely experience some years ago. It's not cheap. Yes the rooms are older, but there's no problem with that. When booking, we imagined the cost reflected the high quality of the restaurant ( because that's what it used to be). We were wrong. It was really only...

We were booked in to this hotel outside Galway after The House Hotel in the city centre had inadvertently cancelled some of our booking. They were extremely apologetic and very helpful and efficient in finding us alternative rooms at a very busy time of year in the west of Ireland. Would definitely go back to House as a great city...
