Firstly I'd like to congratulate you on your lovely hotel even if first impressions from the outside were not exactly great The room (41) was so clean cosy and comfortable I'm glad I set my alarm or I'd still be asleep now in that super comfy bed!! The bathroom was excellent with a lovely hot shower. Both my evening meal...

From the outside we were very surprised that my friend would want to have her wedding here, what a surprise. Excellent accommodation, amazing staff, very friendly and saw to all of our needs. Beautiful room and very good value (huge) breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

Went here as part of a group of 9 for Sunday lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly and had tables rearranged for us which was no problem at all for the staff. The service was quick and staff very friendly, although we didn't feel rushed at all. Between the group we had some Sunday roasts, a couple of pies...

Wow. Dropped in to Gees bar at The Royal Norfolk Hotel for Sunday lunch and was more than happy with the experience. Greeted by an extremely welcoming lady behind the bar who advised, when we mentioned we were eating, the three types of meat available for the roast (Beef, Chicken & Gammon). Our drinks order was taken and we seated...

Four of us went out for a meal, including my 5 year old grandson. The meals were fantastic. Good prices. Had a great choice on the menu. Staff could not be more helpful. Great atmosphere. There are seats out the back of the pub which look onto Sandgate Castle. Would highly recommend this pub.
