Came here with my father who had flown from london .. we had two prints and I received parking fine 1 yr later of £180 .. sent the fine back as I had proof I’d been in the bar and reduced to £100 Disgusting !! The staff should of made us aware that we had to completed reg details of car Appalling!!! I’ve written to the pubs and return ... absolute lack of customer service !! I now have to pay £100 for the two pints we had I will be coming in when you are open and I mull make a fuss !! Be warned !!! Shame on u and the owners
I visited the diamond inn for a 3 night stay in august with my family. Fantastic experience and service. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful! Room could have done with a little touch up but over all a brilliant stay! Would defiantly recommend!
What A discussing experience I had! I visited the Diamond Inn to discuss about renting the venue for my wedding. After few months I have received a letter with £100 fine for having parked my car at their car park. I will never ever visit this place again if they don't sort this out.
I have been going to the Diamond Inn for many years now and have always considered it one of the best run in the area. Not for nothing was it nicknamed "Europes Premier Pub" Not so now. New owners seem determined to get rid of their clientele. Firstly by a car park trap which charges customers vast amounts of money for failing to notice new rules. Then we have high prices - they seem to regard central London prices as the norm. The inside of the pub is uncared for, very scruffy, dirty and lacking atmosphere. Yes, I know they have been badly affected by Covid but so has every other pub. Their determination to ruin a successful pub is now just about complete. I for one will not be unhappy if it never reopens after the current Covid related lockdown.
