Never been to a Holiday Inn before now. Waited over 45 minutes after being seated to order our breakfast. Then took additional time to chase up where our order was after a substantial amount of time. Would not recommend to anyone.
Dirty room even someones dirty sock was left behind really not a thorough clean with covid going on. The receptionist told me I could bring dog in restaurant so we booked in only to be told we couldn't bring the dog in i told the staff we have been told we could only for her to reply "people don't like them when they eating" well there shouldn't be a dog friendly hotel then. We needed to feed our young baby and eat so I was given the option "just tie the dog up outside" which is not an option at all in my eyes. So in the end we had to eat breakfast outdoors with our 12 week old baby ans it was not thr warmest of days. They were so rude making comments about our dog barking he was only a tiny little thing and then we got locked out as the door got shut. Found staff so rude and…
It was disgustingly dirty. Receptionist had to come up to clean our toilet it was covered in dirt!!!!! Carpet had dirt around the edges, and window sills were damp! I couldn’t relax knowing my two children had to stay there. Restaurant food was ok but we were given a high chair which again hadn’t been cleaned. I would never go there with kids!! After complaining we had a lousy drink voucher!! I’ve never written a review before but think people with kids should know not to take their kids there.
What can I say? This place was one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in for a long time especially along the A55 Upon arrival the lady (Molly) was respectful and helpful towards me and my parents. We were in Room 207 on the 1st Floor of the building at first glance the room overlooked the busy westbound A55 towards Holyhead but in actual fact noise is minimal so great for sleeping The room itself was good apart from a few things (hence the rating of 4/5) The room was only heated by an oil heater which in our experience made the room really hot but when off it was cold The bathroom was small and there wasn't much space inside at all The lamp on the left handside of the first double bed is dodgy as when my mum put it up straight it slumped to upside down The cleaning was…
Firstly would like compliment Molly on Reception she was really helpful and very friendly and made us feel very welcome We arrived late afternoon and on the upstairs corridor there were piles of Towels on the floor (they were still there the next day) Our a Room was very hot, there was no heating apart from a stand alone oil heater that was seriously Hot. We turned it off on the first night because it was so stuffy but we couldn’t open the window due to the Road Noise. Unfortunately the next day our Room was freezing as this oil heater was the only form of Heating Would agree with other comments about a noisy Air Con Unit that doesn’t appear to work but every 20mins or so it sound like Dark Vadar, very scary during the night. Dressing table in our Room could do with a Clean,…
