We stayed for two nights in a family room with two children, aged 2 and 7. The family room was a nice size and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Nothing we asked was too much. Our trip was to visit the zoo in Chester, the hotel was very handy about 20 min drive away. We had breakfast and evening meals in the hotel, both were very reasonable price wise and kids eat free with paying adults, which was great. There was a great selection for breakfast both hot and cold. The evening meals were also lovely and there was a good choice of meals and puddings. I was a little apprehensive of the hotel being in a service station and whether this would mean it was too noisy. This was not an issue at all and once in the hotel I could forget all about the location.…
Staff and service excellent, easy to find just off A55, plenty of parking. Room excellent with comfy bed, good bar. One night stay to see a band in Buckley, hotel booked cab for us at a good price. Recommended.
We stayed here for 2 nights as a large family to visit parts of North Wales and it was a wonderful experience. It is conveniently located just off the A55, it’s easy to get to tourist attractions and the breakfast was also great.
The room was very basic. When we arrived the air con wasn’t working and the room was freezing. Spoke to a man on reception about it in which he said he would come and have a look. We waited 45mins for him to come and ended up getting in the tiny bath to try and warm up as we were sat in our coats. When checking out after our two nights the staff were really rude, wasn’t interested and had very little customer service skills regarding to our disappointing stay. Wouldn’t recommend staying here, after reading other reviews the air con seems to have been broken for at least a month!
Excellent stopover en route to Llandudno. Large Room, well appointed and a terrific breakfast thanks to Susan.. its a value hotel and a great price and far better than the 4 star we stayed in in Llandudno. It does exactly what it says on the tin..
