Staff was helpful and nice. The room was okay and bed as well. Bed isn't of great quality but good enough :) Food at the hotel restaurant was good for the money. Stayed just one night. It has got carpet all over. It was quite hot inside, it didn't help very much having the thing on.
Stayed for 1 night, room was clean but needed updating as very tired decor. Toilet in bathroom was positioned so close to wall that had to sit on it sideways. Problems at breakfast as no hot food available.
Stayed here before, was hoping for improvement but alas still a little tired in places. Firstly, Carl in the restaurant makes up for everything, he's outstanding. Excellent meals, good selection, very attentive staff. Great breakfast too. Location: Adjacent A55 dual carriageway, noisy all night. Get a room at the rear if you want any sleep. A little difficult navigating around, even with a sat-nav as all roads lead away from here. Room: OK size, incredibly hot though, couldn't open window as traffic noise through double glazing closed was bad enough. Turned off radiator, finally after hours and hours, got cool enough to sleep. Aircon system seemed to be alive, almost akin to spooky ghouls in the pipes. Annoying to have it gurgle and hiss every 20 minutes throughout the…
We have visited a holiday inn before and we were very impressed so we decided to stay in one on Chester as soon as we got there we had dinner 🍽 and it was discussing.to start with I ordered an a pizza 🍕 of the adult menu and they brought me a children’s pizza so they can’t even get their orders right. Then when we went to our room the window was open and it was freezing and to top that of the central heating was Brocken in all the rooms we went to so we had to have a small heater as our heating system which isn’t ideal when you have small children running about I was terribly disappointed with this hotel and I would recommend it to nobody at all
Stayed here for 1 night stains all over the carpet lamps on wall right above your head in bed breakfast where do I start apart from stale bacon manky beans to watching staff and other guests cross contaminate food then from hearing a particular staff member asking another for money owed to them and talkig to them like dirt
