The King Arthur is a firm favourite for us, we always have lovely meals and warm welcoming service. Even if it's just popping in for a drink I would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling to gower, it's not to be missed!

Staying in the Gower for weekend break and had been the night before where we had a delicious meal. The atmosphere in the pub was also very good, so decided to return as we had had such a good time. However, this time went for an expensive steak and chips. It was very disappointing as the steak was very over... More

I visited the King Arthur for lunch on a dreary Monday lunchtime and was welcomed into the bar area close to a lovely log fire. The staff were friendly and engaging from the outset, and one in particular, I believe his name was Rhys, had a great knowledge of the craft ales and beers they had on offer and recommended... More

We had a room in the annex at the side of the pub which was really nice. Our room was a good size, very comfortable, large bathroom, and clean. We'd been warned there would be a wedding there the first night and it might be noisy but it caused no issues at all. Breakfast was good and we ate in... More

Have eaten here often but never stayed in the hotel before. They do a special 2 nights B & B for the price of 1 from beginning November - end of February so we took advantage. They had a wedding on and suggested we stayed in the annex to avoid noise, which was sensible and helpful. Everything was clean, well... More

I have just spent a few days at the hotel for a family wedding and had a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely obliging and courteous. The rooms are well appointed and clean with extremely comfortable beds. The restaurant has an extremely comprehensive menu and the food cooked to perfection. The selection is also available in the bar. The function... More

This venue, a family favourite for many years, now benefits from a large extension behind the main building ideally suited for events. We enjoyed a reception for 94 there on a Monday evening in November The food was delicious and in spite of the autumnal chill arrived at our tables piping hot. The butternut and coconut squash was spot on,... More

Took my elderly parents and wife out and we looked for a lunch venue, I'm gluten dairy free so really awkward in England but no problem in Wales it seems. I had gammon and chips, parents fish n chips wife had scampi, all were great with fantastic chips, not chunky. Not twice cooked. Menu was great, fancied the pheasant. Lovely... More

Great staff. Good selection of beers. Lovely Sunday lunch. Loads of veg. Belly pork was superb. Need to book restaurant but same menu in the bar. Open fire, wooden floors, a real country pub in a lovely setting.

Food was delicious. Maybe slightly overpriced. Service was lacking though it was extremely busy so can easily forgive the staff. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Would go back just for the food! Recommended.
