Mum and I just spend 5 nights in this cosy, friendly little place. Professional welcoming Staff team made our trip very welcoming, delicious breakfasts each morning always service with a smile and a wee blether. Compliments to the evening chef also. Thanks again everyone.

A typical inn for a single nights stay. Clean and comfortable. And nice filling food. Great friendly staff. We visited on the way to Orkney from Manchester and the inn was a ideal way to break the trip up. As we drove straight back on our return leg and that was a 9 hr drive.

The hotel is good with nice bedding and well appointed rooms. The views from the rooms at the front are great. We did find the room a bit cold in November, I think that the radiator is undersized, despite double glazing. The restaurant was fantastic for both the evening meal and the breakfast.

My husband and I stayed recently as we were attending a friend’s wedding nearby. The staff showed us to our room on arrival and helpfully explained how to get in late at night. They kindly agreed to ask the chef to serve breakfast slightly beyond the 8.30am cut off because we were at a wedding. Very nice touch! We stayed in a double room which was fairly spacious, clean and well decorated. It was lovely and warm too. The only downside was very poor lighting! We had a light dinner in the restaurant which was tasty and fresh. Breakfast was great too. Good selection of hot and cold, huge portions and quality ingredients. The restaurant area is quite run down and could really use a new carpet! We would definitely recommend and stay again.

The room is adequately furnished, clean and tidy. The only criticism I have is the noise from the back of the hotel might not be particularly good for those light sleepers amongst the clientele. The Inn is close to the town centre but there's very little of interest. The restaurant at the Inn is very popular. Book early to avoid disappointment.
