We stayed for one night last weekend. We got very lucky with the weather, a stunning day in Brora. Nothing to do with luck though, was the excellent stay, service, food and staff we came across. Welcome was great, room lovely and cosy, cocktails log fire brilliant, and food, both at dinner at breakfast, was superb, served by a very friendly team. Only down point was we were only there for one night 😪. Next time. Well done Team Royal Marine x

Stayed here for 1 night in November on business while working in the area. Good sized car park for the van, plenty of lighting, nice big reception area. Very helpful receptionist who went through Covid check in process, fully explained dinner & breakfast routines. Lovely big classic room, comfortable bed and large desk, ideal for the mountain of paperwork with me! Dinner was great, food and service excellent. Best of all was the Cullen Skink! I would definitely stay here again.

This was at least our third visit to the Royal Marine and we were not disappointed. The reception staff pre arrival were efficient and helpful ensuring we got the type of room we wanted and on arrival we were made to feel very welcome despite the ongoing Covid restrictions. We visited at the end of October and benefited from the North Highland Escapes offer which was exceptionally good value and included two nights in the hotel with dinner included on the first night. The room we were given was comfortable and spacious - it was also warm and welcoming with a lovely four poster bed as well. The hotel is perfectly positioned for walking to the beach or into town and we also had mountain bikes with us which the hotel staff were happy to store away for us. For a relaxing stay by the sea we would highly recommend the Royal Marine Hotel in Brora, we left as very satisfied customers and will definitely be returning again soon. We stayed here 2 nights last week, ourselves and my parents. The hotel staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. The covid procedures were explained, but not overwhelming. We were given our key packs and our rooms were 'sealed' to show sanitisation. The rooms themselves were spotless clean and spacious, and we were advised how to get fresh towels or any tea/coffee. The bar is a lovely space, but we chose to sit outside in the patio to have a small drink. We had dinner both nights and again, the procedures made us feel very safe. We were advised to book a time for dinner and all diners were well spaced out. The menu itself was excellent. The dining room staff were all helpful and attentive, and the food superb. We were very relaxed eating there, and were then offered a drink in our room afterwards. In the morning again, we booked a slot for breakfast and all food/drinks were served to the table. We felt very safe, very comfortable and almost forgot about covid for a while. We also booked afternoon tea for my mum and it was excellent value for money, as well as being very tasty and plentiful. We had a lovely stay, and will not hesitate to book again. Thanks for making our wee staycation so comfortable.

We stayed here recently for one night on a trip around the Highlands, and wished we had longer. The staff were all very helpful & friendly and we felt safe in the current climate with sanitising etc. We booked room 3 and it was wonderful, very spacious, large comfy bed and a little sitting area with lovely views. Dinner was excellent, would highly recommend the Cullen Skink Risotto - amazing! When we arrived in the afternoon we had a lovely walk around Brora and along the beach, really delightful. We would definitely return if back in the area.
