Myself and my 2 pals had been conquering a couple of hills in Kintail and as the drive home to Fife is 3 hours we planned to stop at Glenspean Lodge for dinner. We have called in a couple of times before but well over a year since our last visit. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and they obviously have a knack at remembering faces, as they knew we had been walking. Drinks arrived very quickly and they were very welcome, my colleagues both had fish & chips and portion size was very generous and I had Lamb Shank. The food was outstanding and next time we head west and are passing we will definitely be stopping again.

A great place in a fantastic setting. Our hosts were very accommodating, and helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished and clean. Temperatures taken on arrival (Covid times!) but that was very reassuring. Suzanne's suggestion of a wee walk to the chapel and graveyard was just ideal - especially when presented with the key to let yourself inside. We had the best meal of our trip here, absolutely gorgeous venison (we both had it, but done in different ways). Outstanding views from the dining room and a superbly presented and tasty breakfast. 10/10

Best nights sleep we have had for a while :). Food was also excellent and loved the views and location. Hope to return soon and visit many more times.

Long weekend stay with friends, Ian and Suzanne are the perfect hosts with the assistance of the always cheerful Megan. Communication prior to stay excellent in helping organise rooms and fishing trip. Nothing was to much trouble, immaculate clean rooms, lovely outside areas with fabulous views, great selection of food and drink (especially whisky), we will definitely return.
