We took advantage of the autumn break offer for my birthday. One night away felt like three days in this relaxing venue. Excellent bedroom and very comfortable 'public' rooms, all spotlessly clean and very well maintained, Dinner was a delight - the food was excellent and the service friendly. We used the pool, outdoor hot tub and steam room and...

On the evening of 12th November 2016 we had a dinner for 38 people in the Drawing Room at Headlam Hall, it was arranged with Mr Dave Jackson, General Manager. The whole evening was a total success , the food was excellent, the room was absolutely beautiful and the staff were absolutely brilliant, very very professional, nothing was too much...

We benefited from an autumn overnight package that included tea and scones on arrival, a three course dinner and breakfast the following morning - all for a very reasonable price. Headlam Hall is an attractive hotel set in well maintained grounds, amidst stunning scenery. The owners continue to invest in the facilities, such that both bedrooms and public areas are...

It was my father's 90th and we were a group of 14, friends and family from all over the globe. We were given a small relatively private room and the services of three lovely staff. I am sorry but I did not get their names, but I guess all the staff are lovely. We had a choice of food and...

Having stopped at Headlam Hall several times before and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and food we decided to book for our wedding. We cannot fault the attention we were given by the staff on the big day, the event ran flawlessly. The food was excellent and piping hot, all our guests commented how much they enjoyed the day. A big...

I stayed her for my Nephews wedding and things did not go well for our stay. The hotel is really nice and I dare say the facilities were nice too if we could use them! (but it was plain that they don't like kids here)! The times for the pool, I was told in no uncertain terms were from 8am...

Our room over the spa was first rate, lovely huge comfy bed, thick fluffy towels, all you could wish for. The swimming pool was just right for 30lengths before our excellent breakfast. The grounds and gardens are beautiful in the autumn sunshine. I could stay here for ever, as long as the weather stays like this.

The rooms, the spa, the food, the service were fantastic the staff couldn't be more helpful We will be back as soon...

I've been to many spas over the years, but this break was fantastic! Firstly, the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. We received a warm welcome and although we were early and our rooms were ready, our bags were happily whisked away and were there for us in our rooms later on. The room was gorgeous, in a separate building from...
