The room (8) was not cleaned properly. The toilet was dirty, not cleaned properly. The bed was in need of changing as the 2 single beds pushed together had poor quality mattresses- this along with the noise from upstairs & comings & going of others all lead to no sleep. The furniture was old & needed changing. We only stayed...

I have been here a few times for meals with friends and family and have always had a very enjoyable meal. The staff are very welcoming and service is good. The prices are reasonable. I look forward to each visit, and I'm sure I will be back again soon.

First time back in area for a year so thought I'd revisit a hotel that I only spent 8 hours in before. Beer great, food excellent (f&c) and staff/mgmt welcoming. Will stay here again next time in area.

We came down for a friends wedding and stayed here with another couple. Our room was shabby and badly in need of updating with new windows and rewiring a priority. Could not get the electric radiator to work at any price, as was the same with our friends, although it did fall off the wall revealing a mass of fluff...

Always a lovely meal, good choice available. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices, more veg available if you ask. Fairly close to home, not sure how far we would drive to come to the sun. Sister pub/restaurant in west bury on trim seems expensive
