This was our first experience of staying overnight in a hotel with our 14 month old puppy. We were very warmly welcomed and had a really good night in our clean, bright and comfy room. Lots of thoughtful touches such as a water bowl, dog biscuit and poo bags. For the humans there was a nicely stocked tray with kettle,...

Nothing was too much trouble at this place. They catered gluten free for me and when my daughter accidentally ordered the wrong dish, it was no trouble to change it. I had a salad which tasted amazing; yes, tasty salad!! It had pear, walnut and Stilton in it, it was to die for!! There's also a kids menu too.

This was really one of the best places I ever stayed in my life considering the price and wonderful atmosphere of The Kings Head. This place was also doggy friendly which was important for us since we travelling to the Crufts dog show. The restaurant was also super quality and food was tasty. I can recommend this place to anyone...

Enjoyed my stay. I was really well looked after by Hayley at the Kings Head, my flight was cancelled so I arrived late and she could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast perfect, coffee as really good as well.

Room not stocked with provisions. Ran out of drinks in the bar. We pre booked a table for dinner to which it appeared hadnt been booked. We were fitted in, near the door if we wanted. Should really look after your guests better.

We are regular clients at the Kings Head. It is our safe bet happy pub in Wye - no offence to the Flying Horse and the newly opened Wife of Bath which also offer first class food. Mike, Scott and their team are always kind and welcoming to clients - and dogs, even on heavy rainy days! We had nothing...

Extremely disappointing. Just how bad can a Sunday lunch be ....cold plates , un roasted roast potatoes, side dish of greens swimming in water, cheese sauce with minuscule pieces of ( I did have to ask what was in the dish ) cauliflower, and the most unedible doughy Yorkshire puddings I have ever seen . Staff did replace food but swapped...

Locally sourced food cooked to perfection justifies the recent gastro award. Scott and Mark are your perfect hosts. The bedroom has been renovated to a high standard with style and panache. Look out for all the local pictures! It's a must for staying overnight and enjoying a superb evening meal with breakfast

My partner and I stayed at the Kings Head for a short break and were made to feel so welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Mark and Scott are such gentlemen, and their team of staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The bar is cosy yet spacious, and very tastefully decorated, and there is a...
