Great place. We were emotional and tired returning from a wake, with three generations of the family, including two small exhausted boys, and stopped for food. Were made to feel welcome straight away, seated, brought drinks. Garlic bread for boys, soup for wife, and I had the excellent chicken and chorizo parcels. Great starters. Mains I had steak& kidney pie...

Booked a Mothers Day Lunch at the last moment but the Landlady was happy to oblige. Had visited once before and was so impressed with the friendly service and excellent food decided it would be a nice place to take our mums. The food once again was exceptional and the friendly service made you feel very welcome. As it was...

From the minute we opened the door to enter we were given an extremely warm welcome, we were a little early but we were seated in comfortable armchairs and sat and had a drink and a lovely complimentary nibble prepared by the chef. Not long after we sere shown to our table, and served the most delicious Christmas lunch you...

Having decided at the last minute to go away for New Years Eve, we knew we'd have to take whatever we could find. However, as luck would have it, we ended up at The Plough which turned out to be a real gem. Right from the very first phone call the service couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful -...

Went in her for a Sunday dinner last week, myself my partner and my 2 children, my mother sister and her partner. We tried a few other places and none could fit us in. My mum said about trying the plough (only as she used to work there) so I rang about 10 mins in advanced and they managed to...

14 of us including 4 children under the age of six went for a double birthday celebration and we could not fault the Plough in any way. There is an excellent choise on the menue and all of our food was to a very high standard. The staff made us feel welcome and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful....

Recently visited en route to a wedding. Good sized rooms, friendly and flexible staff. About 10 miles out of Norwich, so don't expect to easily pop into the city. But why would you, when the restaurant here is so good. About halfway between Norwich and Cromer. so a good location for touring this part of the country. Stairs to bedrooms...

My daughter and boyfriend stayed at the Plough for a few nights and were very impressed with the restaurant so booked us all 7 of us in for Sunday lunch. Carvery style is very good as you can choose what and how much you want. The butternut squash with ginger and chilli was stunning and the carvery meats and veggy...

We had a very pleasant stay at the Plough Inn. It is an ideal base for touring the Norfolk coast, Norwich and the Broads. The rooms are clean and and very comfortable. The food served was delicious. The evenings meals were excellent and very well presented, much 'higher end' than you expect in a pub. Everything homemade which, these days,...
