This Old pub oozes charm, with low beams, separate areas, good beers and a list of local favourites to eat. It can get busy especially if the skittles team are in, as the alley is opposite the pub beside the river. The staff are helpful, friendly and work their socks off. The food is not High Cuisine, its good simple...

We have just returned from a four night stay. This is a very friendly pub, staff and customers very welcoming. Included Full English breakfast was excellent every morning. Nothing was two much trouble. There are only five rooms, ours was a nice size, not huge but you shouldn't expect that in an old pub, en suite was small but usable,may...

Beautiful old beamed pub come restaurant. Local food, menu of the day on chalk boards and very interesting and varied. Prices very reasonable, they have a large car park across the road and a beer garden, with plenty of seating in the shade or sun, when out. Great variety of beers and wines, we'll work a visit in this quaint...

A typical country pub well patronised by locals serving good quality food at reasonable prices. The menu including any specials is displayed on a blackboard, one orders ones food at the bar. Food portions are generous and well presented.

We stayed here for the weekend great room even better food. The staff were helpful and friendly. A vibrant pub well frequented by both locals and visitors alike. The inn is only 10 minutes walk from Washford station on the west somerset steam railway and then 10mins on the train to Minehead. One of Somersets hidden gems well worth a...

We were looking for a village inn offering good accommodation with good pub food and all at sensible prices... we struck lucky here and will certainly return. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown our room, one of a choice of five, which provided ample space with all the usual amenities. We found the food to be good...
