We visited the hotel for an overnight stay and a private dining experience (for 12) to celebrate the wedding anniversary of some friends. The whole occasion was perfect. Wonderful staff, particularly the girl who gave me a facial in the spa, truly delicious food and a wonderful

Visited Lucknam Park for dinner and what a delight it was, four courses of fabulous food introduced by the Chef and the Sommelier talked us through each of his wine recommendations, which were superb. Some of the latter I had never considered/experienced before but they proved a

This hotel is nestled in the foothills of the Cotswolds, Thee historical surroundings of Manor house reflect the opulence of a bygone day. The ambiance was lovely, the staff courteous and the afternoon tea fabulous. Well worth a visit.

This place is a facade of luxury, behind which lies a secretive foreign owner/bad management/ bad treatment of staff/ disrespect of locals/overpriced food (and frankly very dull). It is a total pretence.

Response from Claire R, Managing Director at Lucknam Park

Dear singaman86, I was disappointed and surprised to read about the unsatisfactory experience you had at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. As I am sure you will have noted, this 'review' has been reported to TripAdvisor several times - and removed, but yet you persist in making these allegations. This is the first time we have received such comments concerning our associates, our owners and our excellent long lasting relationship with our community. As you can understand, such claims are a serious accusation - both for me personally as the Managing Director responsible for this hotel and also the rest of our management team and our associates. Therefore, I will personally reach out to you by private messaging in order to further investigate and discuss on the issues you have raised. Kind regards Claire

What's up with the price fluctuations of this hotel? When I was looking at prices per night yesterday they were £250, today they are £595. Very unusual.
Unfortunately it’s supply and demand

Does every room gets free bottle of champagne and box of chocolates on arrival? I have seen that some of the rooms also got a welcome basket? Many thanks, A

We are thinking of planning a couple of nights at the Lucknam Park as part of my husbands celebration of his 50th Birthday, I am unsure of which room type to select, we do not really need a suite or four poster bed, but we like a shower and a nice view , any suggestions
I would suggest you speak to the hotel, I found the staff very helpful and very polite. The room we had overlooked the courtyard and had a 4 poster bed. The views at the front are not that inspiring and are probably more expensive.

Can anyone tell me what the spa is like?
The Spa is lovely. The treatments are expensive and don't stand out as particularly worth it, in all honesty.
