Pauline and Dennis saved our weekend from being completely ruined by the incompetence of a nearby hotel who had double booked and had no room for us even after several email correspondence and a telephone call directly to confirm our so called booking for one night. Eventhough Pauline and Dennis had just arrived in that evening from a long trip,...

We experienced our first visit to Mulgrave Cottage during August of 2013. I would liken it to paying a visit to your favourite relatives, only better ! Pauline and Dennis do make the perfect hosts. The cottage is set half way through the village of Goathland. The church and Malyan Spout at one end and the NYM railway station at...

We arrived to a very warm welcome and shown to our very comfortable room. I never normally sleep well when away from home, but I did here. Great view out of bedroom window across to the village. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here with Pauline and Dennis.

We stayed with Pauline and Dennis for the Friday and Saturday nights, absolutely ideal. After a perfect quiet night we awoke to see the sheep outside and birds on the bird table. We had the cooked breakfast which was cooked to order just how we liked it so our plates were left clean. There was also plenty of choice of...

My partner and I had 3 wonderful nights at this lovely cottage in early Aug '12. As we drove across the common and pulled up at the door, our hosts, Pauline and Dennis were at the door before we even got to knock! Their welcome made us feel at home straight away. They only have the one room so it...

At the beginning of July my husband and I spent 6 days at this charming little B&B with its quaint ambience both inside and out. We felt most fortunate indeed because not only was Goathland a beautiful area in which to be located in the North York Moors, but our hosts, Pauline and Dennis, were most accommodating and friendly in...

Pauline and Dennis being wonderful hosts with an extensive knowledge of what the area has to offer.
