Absolutely stunning place! Furnished in an eclectic antique style but with such taste that all just goes together perfectly. Attention to details worth admiring! I had lovely time there and will be coming back! Great base for trips around the Yorkshire Moors. Breakfast included in price - delicious! Excellent service. So far cannot fault it well could be cheaper but...you...

We stayed at the Cornmill for just one night and found the bedroom relaxing and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast room was where the water wheel used to be and a glass cover was over the stream running through. The whole building oozed character

We spent 3 nights here and found it a very peaceful setting. We had a twin room with a superb roll top bath which we made full use of. There was always plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfy and the pillows clean (I always sneak a peek inside pillow cases to check). Breakfast was good and I...

booked into the cornmill for an overnight stay and nothing was too much trouble, asked what was better time for us to check in, offered a pot of tea on arrival. The room was very comfortable and very quiet, easy location to walk into the town. The breakfast was astounding, very nice pleasant hosts would definitely stay again

Am at a loss to see why previous reviewers have called this "luxury" I can only assume they either don't travel much or have lower standards than I do. There are positives but for me there were also negatives that spoiled my stay. On arrival we were taken to our room (a deluxe double) and before we got there were...

The whole experience was very pleasant . The breakfast choice was plentiful and the coffee great. I did expect to be more in the country but that was our fault for not checking the surrounds. We were blessed with great weather so we opened the windows for fresh air every morning and the room was a decent size. The bathroom...

From start to finish our stay was amazing! Such welcoming and friendly hosts who do an effortless job of providing a fantastic B&B. For the price we got a personal service, a chin wag, a beautiful room and amazing breakfast. I imagine Karen got quite bored of me yapping but she seemed like the kind of person I could chat...

We loved this B&B and should we choose to stay in this area again, would probably stay here. The owners are lovely and so friendly. My mother in law had rang up to say we had recently got married and between her and the owners, they organised a few special treats in our room. The room was a good size,...

This is a luxury b and b, not a hotel. It's stylish, friendly, welcoming and with lots of useful touches. The bed is super comfortable with nice linen, and a good shower. the breakfast is wonderful. most of the rooms are separate from the house so you have great privacy. It's a luxury b and b, no more, no less.

We stayed in Room 1 of The Cornmill for 2 nights as we were going to a wedding near by. From the point of reserving the room, to the actual stay we cannot praise Karen and Chris enough. The room was so comfortable, the bed warm and cosy, the ensuite bathroom was beautifully modern with lovely hot water. The breakfast...
