We stopped at this restaurant during a road trip, mainly because of the kids. From outside, it looked nice, and we thought it would be better to eat in a proper restaurant instead of an average gas station / road stop. Big mistake... After entering and sitting - by ourselves - it took 10min until someone asked whether we were...

We called in here with starving kids after a long drive from Turin. It was 2:15pm and they'd stopped serving. The barman rude and dismissive. We should have taken the hint. The manageress appeared and said that she'd see what she could do. What they could do was ham and chips x 5. My wife and I had a 'luxury'...

Group of us stayed here in July 2015. It's a tired hotel in need of a refurb. But the price was reasonable, the food was certainly better than average, they didn't run out of beer, breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. So, really, what more can you ask?

Stayed here over the new year break. You will enjoy this place if your expectations are not a 5 star hotel - but a bed and breakfast. The hotel and rooms are "old-fashioned" and could do with some upgrade work - its like going back to the late 80's in a time machine :-) - that said, the rooms were...

Well, it was nice and clean, which is good. Wasn't a great bargain or anything, and everything just felt painfully old and dreary. It had a rotary dial phone in the room!!! (part of the old and dreary theme). That said, they had a very clean bathtub, and I'd been walking all day along the Via Francigena, so that tub...

Only ate at the restaurant so I don't know about the hotel. Food without care and expensive. Staff was ok, but not exactly welcoming, just doing their job and dishing out some grub. If you are travelling up or down the St. Bernard there are better places a little further down the Swiss side. And a lot better places in...

For business reasons I had to stay one night at this place. Hotel and Restaurant are run by separate operators. The Hotel reception was friendly. The rooms are minimum adequate but not at all inviting, either overheated or too cold. Lights in the room are inadequate and cold. One lamp did not work.. The bathroom drainage pipes of two upper-floors...

Hotel was ok. Restaurant was spectacularly bad. Food was still frozen. But the waiters are unique. This must be the breeding ground of the rudest waiters in western Europe.
