We very much enjoyed our 4 nights stay. Breakfast was very nice. Angela was a terrific hostess. Our room was immaculate. She had some delicious clotted cream scones ready on our arrival. There are 2 pubs within walking distance for meals, also a small supermarket down the street. The house is really lovely. There is parking near the front door....

Really enjoyable stay at this fabulous and historic home in Hatherleigh and well looked after by Angela who could not have been more helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Knowing I will be visiting Exeter in June, I took the opportunity to arrange to stay here, despite it being a tad further away than I would prefer. Seemingly I will be adding a...

Our 2 night stay here was wonderful and Angie couldn't have been any more accommodating. The rooms were clean, homely and relaxing, just like staying a relatives house. The afternoon tea was a lovely touch and the scones were to die for - one of the best I have ever had! Breakfast was also very delicious! Thank you again for...

Stayed here for a wedding and we had such a cute experience. The house is charming, warm and welcoming. We are breakfast with the other guests which is unusual but actually felt really nice and sociable. The full English was fantastic and huge! This also came with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and plenty of toast. We couldn't recommend highly enough!

This is much more than a B&B, it's a large country house situated in the beautiful market town of Hatherleigh. A warm welcome from the outset with a free Devon Cream Tea, I had a very good breakfast and the whole stay is very good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone.
