Our second visit and did not want to leave. Penny & Tony have added all those little touches that make it a perfect stay, from the hot tub to the lodge to the extremely well kept grounds, makes it the perfect get away and place to relax. Trying to book again

Lovely, relaxing break. Location is lovely, as was the lodge and veranda and all the facilities, including the indulgent steam shower and hot tub. There was an abundance of wildlife to watch from your veranda, comfy outdoor furniture to relax in and plenty of privacy to relax & unwind. We had thought the lake would be bigger than pictured, however...

Last minute break. Very well appointed lodge. All lodges well positioned round lake. Bed comfortable. Hamper a very nice touch....everything needed for at least 1st night and next morning. No need to bring kitchen knives, washing powder, dishwasher tabs or liquid, tea towels etc. Fishing good with lots of species. Site exceptionally well kept. Hot tub lovely. Would we come...

Absolutely stunning location, a real oasis! We checked into Woodpecker lodge and literally gasped as we entered the front door, blown away by the quality and finish of the fixtures and fittings - and the sight of my first ever real Christmas tree nestling in the corner! The lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need, complete with little...

What an amazing return to our favourite secret hideaway. The lodge was perfect as usual. But…I was here to fish and found it fantastic. I only fish with a £25 set up and only fish here twice a year. The new carp made excellent fishing for me, giving a good fight for an amateur. Half a dozen 3lb-6lb carp a...

We have been fortunate enough to visit Badwell on different occasions under different owners. The place is very special. Hamper on arrival, wonderful lodge with steam room, four poster bed, power shower B-B-Q and of course the hot tub. Lovely and quiet and spotlessly clean. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Everything you could wish for is provided in the very clean, tidy and warm lodges. Relaxing in the hot tub with the snow landing on your head was amazing. The welcome hamper was well thought out and finding the bottle of bubbly in the fridge was a real bonus. Everything form slippers to a torch was supplied including the peace...
