We stayed here 8 years ago and the hotel has not been updated whatsoever,in fact it is showing more deterioration. Would not recommend this hotel. The views of the lake are beautiful, the owners are delightful but, the accommodations need serious updating.

This must be one of the most beautiful place I've been. The hotel itself is slightly above average. An old building, nestled between the cliff and the lake. Checking in was a breeze. We didn't make any bookings but we're very lucky to get the family room. Room is huge with a big balcony that faces the lake and mountains....

This hotel is at the end of the road with the lake right out in front. No other traffic to disturb the tranquility of the property. Of all the places we visited in Switzerland, this is the number one place I would return to. Public bus at main road (bit of an uphill hike) but easy ride into the city...

The staff at the hotel were wonderful and the setting was just spectacular, especially when going for an early morning swim in the lake. The food at the restaurant was ok and the décor was definitely in need of updating but in a way it did add to the hotel's character. Nevertheless, I would have found the price a little...

We have been here 5 times over the last 30 odd years and hope to stay again when we next visit Switzerland in a few year's time. It has been run by the Michel family for many years and it is delightful. It is not fancy or pretentious, but it is clean, comfortable, friendly, and has wonderful views of Lake...

We stayed there 4 night. The hotel is old but very clean, the location is gorgeous, just few steps from the lake, and the boat station. Breakfast is typical European, the service is good, the staff is very kind and jentel. The price was also good, 560CHF for 4 night.

Hotel easier to find than I expected by car, being well signposted from Ringgenberg high street. Very narrow road down but lovely location right by lake Brienz. We had a warm welcome and our room was plain, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Rather a small shower room probably because a later addition to the room. Stair carpet a...

A little late in our review as we stayed here for part of our Honeymoon in September 2012. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. This quaint little family run hotel was perfect for us. The view was stunning with the ferry stopping right in front of the hotel. The grounds are very nice with a few spots to...

You know you're in a friendly place when you arrive early (12:30 noon) and the owner gets up from lunch to see if your room might already be ready for you. And it is. Seeburg is a relaxed family-run hotel with beautiful views of the Brienzersee, a garden restaurant and a little park-area for guests to have access to the...
