This is simply not a 4* Hotel: it pretends to be an high-standard structure , but it is just an average resort with nothing special and a few relevant drawbacks that make its price really not worth going. For example, we slept in a dark "tufo" room close the the resort pumping system which made us not sleeping a single... More

The premises are very nice. The problem is high season with dozens of italian families with their kids. Forget about peace at the pool, you will have dozens of kids making noise and their parents not very interested in looking after their behavior. Breakfast is a battle, while getting a capuccino is a saga. No yoghurt, no fruit (pineapples, etc)... More

We arrived after travelling from Siracusa to Donaluccata, the hotel is stone built and inside upon entering you really feel a past era with soft golden stone walls accents of black with large sofas and the warm greeting upon checking in, then we met the hotels local advisor she told us what was available at the resort and places to visit... Due to illness we had to cancel our reservation a month ahead! To our surprise the hotel charged the full amount of our stay as cancellation fee! What is even worse, is that the room was charged in May, although our planned stay was for beginning of september! Cost: 700 eur for a room that probably will be hired again!!!

Looking for a place to eat for lunch in the off season and were surprised. We had spaghetti vongole and ricotta stuffed ravioli in a light pomodoro sauce. The ristorante has a nice view of the sea which is a plus. Be aware that very little english is spoken, since this hotel is an Italian tourist destination. The staff were... More

Nice rooms, not big but very clean, with an efficient navette service to the nearby beach. Fresh food which one can see in the open kitchen the hotel is very good solution for family holidays made nice also... More

This hotel has a resort-like setting, away from other attractions. It would be a difficult location without a car. The reception area and breakfast room were beautiful. Our room was pleasant but not outstanding; comfortable, clean, and modern. The pool setting was good and rated about a 7 on a 1-10 scale of cleanliness. Fellow visitors were very friendly. The... My partner and I stayed here last year for a few days and as all the reviews thus far should indicate, it was very much a resort for Italians. I don't remember hearing any other language, and certainly we were the only native speakers of English. More specifically, it's a resort for Italians with young children. At night there was... More

Charming 4 stars Beach Resort rising up in a rural building made of tuff in the typical ancient manor farm style. The resort overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches of south-eastern Sicily. The rooms are located in the central building of the hotel and are divided into 101 Classic Rooms and 8 Standard Rooms. The resort offers a wonderful swimming pool, solarium, tennis court, football field, a pool and a lobby bar, a well-equipped private beach only 700 metres off the hotel, animation team for daily and nightly entertainment, Mini Club for kids and a wide and luminous restaurant. The resort overlooks the crystal clear sicilan sea and is surrounded by a landscape and a cultural heritage which are absolutely unique. Closeby the masterpieces of the baroque period: Ragusa, Scicli, Ibla, Noto and last but not least the breath-taking Siracusa.
