I was walking the Coast Path and enjoyed a very warm welcome. Everything was pretty nice, the breakfast was great and the beds were lovely and the most important the hosts were really really nice ... Perfekt!

This is a really lovely place in a quaint and unspoilt street . We were walking the coastal path and it was a special place for our overnight stay . Ideally situated one row from the quay from where the ferry runs to Instow . John and Jane made us feel very welcome , no fuss but very efficient and...

I took the time to find a local B&B in Appledore, believe in supporting local businesses. Fab little find, delightful double room in a beautiful home. Hosts could not do anymore for us thank you both. Breakfast was choice of cereals fruits yoghurts full English served in their dinning room with charm.

My room came with its own huge bathroom and was very comfortable. You are in John and Jane's home and are made to feel welcome. The house itself is situated right near the quay in a charming street. There is no off road parking, but to have such parking would spoil the character of the street. We parked nearby without...

The location and character of this house would be hard to fault. The house is over 300 years old and is situated right in the heart of Appledore nestled among the narrow lanes. Traffic free and 2 minutes walk from the sea front and the local tea shops, pubs and restaurants. Our room was large with en suite bathroom, and a...

What a wonderful place to stay, beautiful breakfast, lovely people. Lovely rooms, location was ideal to the seafront, a bit awkward to park car but we managed. Definately go there again, and would recommend it to others.

John and Jane are lovely hosts. Breakfast is cooked to order and is of high quality. The house is a quirky Appledore house, quiet but set in the middle of the village. Good value, good sleep, good food and good company.

Four of us visited for two nights over the Bank holiday weekend. Good location just off the Quay. Lovely rooms with tea making facilities etc. John and Jane are very nice and nothing is too much trouble. Great breakfast. Would recommend to all.

Stayed in the double en-suite, with a delightful window view on to a traffic free and peaceful street scene. The bed was fine although not as wide as is often the case these days. John and Jane were the perfect hosts providing information on local services and other background information. The breakfast was beyond reproach my only regret being that...
