Enjoyable stay, very relaxing and such a tranquil location. We moved house a few weekends ago so it was just what we needed. (Chill out) Great location for local walks, plus various pubs/restaurants in Hadleigh to enjoy an evening meal out. Perry was an outstanding host. Breakfast each morning was excellent. Room was very comfortable, large and in keeping with...

My girlfriend and I stayed a couple of nights over August Bank Holiday, as we at a party nearby. Perry, the owner, is a great host, and made us really welcome. Our room was spotless, and the house itself is lovely, though we didn't spend much time in it. Perry also cooks a great Breakfast, even when we rolled in...

Excellent setting 10 minutes walk from small town. Spacious and interesting house. Quiet but not cut off. Very enjoyable breakfast. Garden and lounge to sit and relax. Rooms very comfortable. Delightful setting. Very peaceful. Stunning views over the old walled garden. Best view from a bathroom! Breakfast in the cottage garden was a treat. Cottage is well equipped, clean and bags of character. Sitting room slightly frowsty when windows shut. We didn't bring our hound in the end - lovely to know she was welcome! I wouldn't have let her...

Last leg of our tour of the bottom end of Britain and what a lovely way to end it. The location and the house are stunning. The owner was away on holiday and he'd left it in the capable hands of a young girl called Sophie. Couldn't praise her enough smiley and very friendly. The room had a lovely comfy...

Stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding last year. Amazing place to stay. We had all 3 rooms so effectively had half the house to ourselves. Played on the lawn in the evening and had make up, photographer, hairdresser etc running around the morning of my wedding. Perry is a wonderful host and breakfast was terrific....

My wife and 1 year old stayed here for two nights. Perry was very accommodating and was helpful looking after us. The rooms were lovely as was the entire venue. You really would not believe you were 1/2 mile from the centre of Hadleigh as you feel as though you are in the middle of the countryside. Overall this is...

Stayed here with my husband and 14 month old baby. A truly wonderful place where nothing seems too much trouble, being made a cup of tea as soon as we arrived was a lovely touch and set the tone for a really special weekend. Our suite was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had a bath deep enough to wallow in...
