We knew we were in for a long drive from St. Anthony to St. John's so we were simply looking for a place to lay our heads for the night somewhere close to mid-way. Of the places that had reviews that didn't scare me off, I couldn't book any online - Bev at River Tides answered the fourth call I...

We were blown abway by the wonderful house and the beautiful place of the River Tides Inn! Our room has everything we could have wished for: seperate entry out to the deck, where you can sit in the evening and watch the sun set over the river. Everything in the house was spotless and Bev & Ron were just great...

The River Tides B&B is just that "Over the Top" it was like staying on set of a design show. Our hosts although we just met where like catching up with old high school friends. We sat up talking till it was time to pack it in. Breakfast was amazing and we were left unwanting. River Tides has spoiled us...

We stayed here en route from St John's to Gros Morne and would highly recommend it to anyone doing the same trip. It's not too far off the main road, but you feel a million miles away from anywhere. The house is bright, fresh and beautifully built with a good solid feel. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and...

Lovely modern home with a private entrance off the deck. We had a very nice breakfast in the am at a most convenient time as we were leaving relatively early for Gros Morne. Hosts were most helpful in booking us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant nearby. Only negative was the road in and I recommend using the 3rd exit...

Although I am writing this review long after we stayed here, I can still remember everything about our stay, it was just that great! Beautiful house, great property right on the water, breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit down and have a beer with the owners Ron and Bev while relaxing in the evening. Very nice people...

We stayed at River Tides last month while we travelled in Newfoundland. Ron and Bev, the hosts, gave us a warm welcome with tips about where to eat and what to see in the area. The suite of rooms you stay in is spacious, very comfortable and totally clean. The B & B is in a quiet, peaceful location so...

As we drove slowly down the rough road to this accommodation we wondered a little about what we were going to (although the website did show a lovely looking house). We pulled off the road onto the driveway, got out of the car after a long drive and knew we had made the right decision to stay here. Peace. This...

This lovely B&B provides a picturesque view of the riverside. The setting is peaceful and tranquil offering a 'special piece of Newfoundland'. Ron and Bev are wonderful hosts - both helpful and willing to share stories. They take pride in their home which is tastefully decorated. The surroundings are immaculate. This B&B is a treat!
