One night stay.Comfortable double room. Delightful ambience in the bar and restaurant. I had the inclusive with course dinner and free drink. Good choice off an interestingly different menu. All freshly cooked and excellent quality. Staff courteous and polite. Lovely breakfast. Lots of homemade bits and bobs. Gardens great for the warmer days. Give it a try.

Recommended by friends, this is a good country pub with quite a small menu which is good as it implies that everything is fresh. I had the pork medallions which were tasty but a little tough and the potatoes with them were average. The accompanying vegetables had good variety but were a little overcooked. We just went for lunch so many...

Excellent polite professional staff, nice cosy pub with open log fire's. Lovely rooms and views across the open countryside in a quiet beautiful part of the country. Didn't have dinner but it looked lovely, breakfast was great.

A very friendly welcome, and excellent service. Slight confusion with order, probably our fault and not an issue at all. Food very tasty. A good selection of real ales ,quality lagers, and decent wines. Not the first visit and not the last.

Decided to have lunch somewhere local to Petersfeild with the wife. We arrived around 12:30 and was greeted by a friendly and polite waitress / bar lady / everything (poor lady was so busy all the time and could have done with another staff member to be honest). We were seated by a log burner but unfortunately even with the...

Excellent throughout, good food, well presented. Good menu choice. Staff friendly and attentive. Am glad that I will be returning on another business trip in near future. The only problem that I had was lack of mobile signal, but with the free Wi-Fi was able to use through internet

Just before Christmas I phoned this establishment (plus 3 others) to check availability for a weekend in September 2017 for a party of 10. The member of staff I spoke to happily told me that all rooms were available. I therefore provisionally booked the whole establishment and said that I would cancel my 3 other provisional bookings and would provide...

Stayed for one night, staff are very friendly and rooms are fine, with little touches such as leaving apples, home made shortbread along with the tea and coffee. Breakfast is good, a range of cereals/fruits as well as a cooked breakfast. We were there for a birthday meal in the restaurant, food was OK and reasonable value. Free wifi

The hotel and staff are very friendly and the bar area is lovely. We were shown to our room, the privett room. The room was clean and spacious and the amenities were great, tea, coffee, kettle, bottled water etc. I was just a bit dissapointed with the finishing touches. This was mainly a lot of damp which in the corner...

A bit out of the way but worth the extra travel. This is a lovely quaint hotel... the rooms are not fancy but very homely and comfortable with tasteful art work. Bottle tap water, shortbread and teas and coffees available in the room. The shower room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was adequate although the breakfast room...
