Detailed Reviews
A very nice and calm hotel. The room was large and had a very nice view over the ocean. The bed was also very good and the room was clean. Breakfast buffet with a lot to choose from. We had the evening dinner twice and we had some delicious food an wine.
Very friendly staff
We stayed here for 5 nights and we can recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing stay.

The area this hotel is located in is absolutely beautiful. OMG, how nice is the Italian Riviera? The Cristallo service was fabulous and the food was great. Love the atmosphere and the short stroll to the beach and swimming in the warm waters was the highlight. Head down to Tellaro if you want to take some fantastic location photos or head by bus or foot to Lerici for even more picturesque locations.

We planned a week of a sea retreat combining visits to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, small villages in Linigiana and some beach rest. We needed a hotel just to spend the night in and did not allocate a great budget to it.
Cristallo lived up to our expectations. It offers real value for money though nothing fancy. The rooms are spacious and clean with the sea view or side sea view as in our case from many of the rooms. The breakfast is served in a very nice room with the panoramic sea view, the buffet was just basic though with some fresh fruit display. We did not go for the dinner in the hotel restaurant but it is mentioned in the Michelin guide so we might have missed something.
There is a free private parking in the hotel which is a great advantage. Anyway, if you plan a day trip by boat to Cinqua Terre which starts from Lerici you might want to leave your car in the hotel and go to Lerici by bus as parking in Lerici is somewhat tricky. The bus schedule is provided by the hotel and the bus stop is just outside the hotel gates.
The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. They really make you feel welcome.
There are a lot of beaches in the area including private beach clubs and public beaches. The closest public one is right opposite the hotel, you need to take stairs down to get to it. Anyway, it is tiny and dirty. Our favorite one was about 500 meters up the hill along the road, it is divided into private and public areas and you can either take a deck chair or enjoy lying on the towel which is also perfectly ok. Anyway, I guess in high season it might get very crowded....
Also make sure that you go to Tellaro which is just 15 minutes walk along the road from the hotel. It is very nice village with some stunning sea views especially at sunset. You can also find some restaurants/ pizzerias/bars on your way. To me it is much quieter and nicer than in Lerici itself.

I spent in this structure 7 nights with family (2 kids). The hotel location is fantastic and my room was facing the wonderful view of the "gulf of the poets ", so loved by lord Byron. The room (with balcony) was large, neat, clean, silent and provided with fridge, tv set, safe and air conditioning system. We found the quality of the food very, very good. Breakfast and meals, served in the restaurant room with a sea view, simply delicious. Most of the ingredients used for the food, are produced at km 0 (zero) by the family which lead the hotel. The personnel, kind and polite and always available to help you in case of need, is very efficient, exactly like the WiFi present in the structure. Car park, part of the property, is included and, for this area, this is a plus you can not do unless. Just in front of the hotel, 140 steps bring You to the small free beach where, in the case, you can also rent beach umbrella. Outside the hotel you can find a bus stop to reach the neighbor Lerici or Tellaro but, this last one, is just 5 mins walking distance. Many of the 4 or 5 stars hotels I stayed in the occasion of my travels, were not so satisfactory as Cristallo hotel, therefore, what else could you ask for?

Really nice hotel with good rooms and excellent breakfast and dinner. We felt welcome and were sorry we could not stay longer. Got the best wine on our trip here. Clearly a family who takes pride in their hotel.

Hotel is not very close to the sea. There are parking constraints. An elevator helps you to arrive to the lounge. Service is good, but not exceptional. The rooms are large and clean, but the forniture is old fashion. Onthe sea side all rooms have a nice terrace. The restaurant in the hotel is good , but not to be remembered. Breakfast if fine.

We stayed in Cristallo for two nights for a family wedding in August. I had visited Lerici and Tellaro a few years before, but had completely forgotten how incredibly beautiful the Italian Riviera is- glorious sea and rocky coves- the area is well worth a visit.
Cristallo was nice, providing a good breakfast, a clean and functional room and amazing views over the coves. It was handy for the sea, and had parking on site. However, we both felt that this came at a price. It was the middle of the Italian holiday season, and on a bank holiday weekend, so I appreciate that you pay a small premium on your stay, but we felt the price was still a little high.
We will definetly be back, but will probably look for cheaper accomodation.

Just returned from fantastic visit to this stunning area.
The hotel is a very good 3 star hotel which is spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location.
Bonus of having free parking and breakfast included.
Breakfast was continental but with a good selection and coffee served by a charming lady.
Bus stop outside the hotel made travelling to Lerici very easy and bus terminus is only a short walk from the ferry to Cinque Terre.
In the evening we took the bus to one of the lovely restaurants on the front and got a taxi back ( cost for four of us was the same as the bus ).
One evening ( public holiday ) the hotel kindly called for a taxi for us.
Rooms with sea view have balconies and it was lovely to sit there at night admiring the view.
Rooms have fridge which was great for keeping water , wine etc cool. No tea or coffee making facilities though which would have been an added bonus.
Weather was stunning and fortunately we had taken our own towels but I did notice the hotel offers beach towels at a charge of 3 euros ( not sure if that was a daily charge or one off hire )
The local beaches are not the best but we did venture in the sea which was crystal clear . Would recommend some shoes though as very painful due to pebbles and gravel.
Would return to the hotel as the location is just perfect and very knowledgeable friendly staff.

We did not have a sure place to stay in Lerici, fortunately the wonderful folks at Hotel Cristallo found a room for us. We had a lovely, 6-night stay (four in a balcony room with a gorgeous view)-- the rooms were clean, bright, and spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb, and the service, excellent. Can't wait to go back.

Nice family hotel offering a good breakfast with local produce and fruit. There is a whole range of home made sweets. Prices are fair considering the region. Parking available on site. Recommended for a stay to visit the cinque terre

La spiaggetta sotto l albergo e attrezzata in parte. Credo si possa usufruire della piscina e sdasio del centro vicino. Altrimenti in paese a 10 min di autobus/auto ci sono spiagge attrezzate. Non sono molto grandi ma belle.
