Castelmuzio, with its population of about 250, is perched on a hilltop, and is the perfect center point for exploring Tuscan life -- food, wine, people and most remarkable of all, the incredible Tuscan sun. It's different there. Colors are more lush, edges are shaper, the air crisper. Several other small persistently charming Tuscan villages and towns are within 45...

We've just returned from our trip of a lifetime to the Tuscany area, staying in Il Cielo for a week in March 2012. This is the perfect accommodation for as many as five people - I was travelling with my mother, my son, and my daughter. Everything about this apartment was outstanding, from the fully appointed kitchen to the balcony...

We loved this little apartment, staying for two weeks in September 2011. It easily accommodated two couples in one week, and in the 2nd week one couple and two singles. We made many of our own meals, with groceries readily available in the village Coop, in Pienza, at farmer's markets and best of all, in the Cretaiole garden. We have many...

My husband, two adult children, and I stayed three nights in the two-bedroom townhouse, Il Cielo. It could not have been lovelier. The town is quiet with about 200 residents. You could hear the church bells ringing and children playing in the little town park. The townhouse was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to make...

The apartment was well appointed and fll of everything you could need. The chrch bell tower rand every hour after 7am to 7pm and I absolutely loved it. I wished...

My wife, Lynn, and I just returned from our 2+ week visit to Tuscany. Our 1st week was spent at Le Casine di Castello in apartment Il Nido. Isa's skills as a host, decorator, and "travel guide" (her "red book" is wonderful) are outstanding. As SueBeth commented, Isa has thought of everything - if you forgot something, chances are Isa...

My husband and I spent a week in September at Il Nido(the nest) the lower level accommodation of Le Casine di castello in Castelmuzio. What an incredible experience. We have traveled by bicycle in Tuscany 4 times previously, so we knew what we were looking for and found more than we ever expected. There were 4 of us, two couples. We stayed in an apartment in Castelmuzio, about 7km north of Pienza. It is owned by the Moricciani family, more specifically, it is run...
