We are an independent family-owned and run business from humble beginnings and we're now celebrating our thirteenth year of trading, having grown and expanded from a B&B to now a 27 en-suite room Hotel! Our new Admirals Restaurant is on site, catering for Breakfasts, Afternoon Teas, Light Lunches and Evening Meals to both hotel guests and to the public. We have a thriving Sunday Roast reputation and of course we host Weddings, Business Meetings and Conferences for up to 250 people, and local Events for clients on a bespoke basis. We value our guests and our reputation, and any feedback is welcome as a source of learning for us.

Excellent service from all the staff from start to finish. Breakfast very good and not buffet style which ensures freshly cooked food with an excellent choice. Bedrooms very clean tidy and well decorated. Did stay for evening meal with my guests which was also excellent. Will return as we have found somewhere to stay very near family. Did not want to stay in a travel lodge as prefer more personal attention

We had to find somewhere last minute due to an Inn we turned up at was not great. This place popped up and ticked all the right boxes. Room 6 was a lovely big room for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We were upgraded to superior. Dinner was lovely in the Admiral restaurant with a great view. The gardens were lovely although could do with a bit sorting around the pond. Customer service was great and everyone at limes were friendly and attentive. Lots of parking space. Breakfast was yummy although a bit limited on the continental. Overall we had a lovely peaceful night's stay. We will definitely be back.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all at The Limes, a big special thank you to Victoria who helped plan our night out from the very first email. We attended a staff night out here and from start to finish it was amazing. The food was beautiful beyond belief, the room was perfect. The DJ was very very good, got everyone on the dance floor and made the night a cheerful one. The ultimate boy band WOW! they really set the bar high, and were incredible! The whole night was great! Each and everyone of us could not say a bad thing about the night or The Limes itself. Every little detail was done to the best of its ability and we couldn't be happier. There are a few sore heads this morning but it was definitely worth it. Thank you all so much. Zest Care Homes.

Room 12 is directly above the main entrance where people gather for a cigarette break when attending events. The noise is not too bad but there is a security light and as there are no curtains (only louvre blinds) in the room every time someone came out the whole room lit up which made for a disturbed night. Breakfast didn't start till 9am which as we had an early start wasn't great. The room was clean though and beds comfy. Bathroom although clean did have a bit of a school toilet smell.

This is the second time I have stayed here on business I travel from Ireland to work here with family having stayed at various hotels in the area I am exceptionally pleased with service and rooms at this property could not fault it
