The hotel was lovely, very festive. Our room was clean and light with all we require. The restaurant was well laid out, staff were great, especially Angel and enjoyed the food. Had a great stay. Clare Galway is a great location to travel around and to Galway or Clare. We especially liked the walk round Galway Christmas market and enjoyed the lights.

Room was great, pool was great, evening meal was great, bar on the Saturday night not great at all,bar staff need a lesson on how to pull a pint of Guinness, it's Ireland your in and we will wait for it to be pulled right. Breakfast the following morning a disaster one of my kids asked for pancakes and bacon, he got pancakes no bacon, 3 tiny pancakes with maple syrup and I mean tiny. I asked for toast was told it would be brought to our table, its was, when I had finished my breakfast and was cold, my partner was just starting her breakfast asked for fresh toast it arrived 10 mins later and cold again. Management ye need to have a senior member of staff on for breakfast on a Sunday morning, to guide the students that ye have working for ye at the weekend, with guidance this staff could really learn from it. Overall ok but a big let down when it came to barstaff and breakfast service. Don't chance the scrambelled egg for breakfast it has been in the ban mari since early morning it's disgusting and if you look for a fried egg your breakfast will be finished by the time you get it served to you. Come on management it's eggs 🥚 cook them fresh for God's sake.

We stayed in the presidential suite for my birthday night away and I could not fault the room. The room was amazing, so big and loved the Christmas tree in our room & the bath and shower were amazing! Spotless also. Dinner was delicious and breakfast (I had pancakes and bacon) was amazing! Was good to see them asking every guest for covid certs and ID also. Would 100% love to come back here, all staff were very friendly and helpful also. Only one comment I have is that my partner asked a staff member twice for something at breakfast and never received it, but they were quite busy….

Two adults two children, one night with Christmas afternoon tea and breakfast included for great price. We had the afternoon tea on arrival at 2pm. Lovely hot chocolate. Food very nice but scones were stale and served cold. Asked for them to be reheated and they were OK. The bottom layer of the afternoon tea was so tasty but again it was served cold. Steak sandwich and BLT could have done with a warm up. Room v comfortable no complaints. Very clean and nice beds. Evening meal, restaurant was very busy. They didn't seem to have enough staff we were left waiting for ages. Bruschetta for starters was not a bruschetta was just topping on a pizza base! Way to big for a starters. Steak main was good. Cabin chicken burger was dry and nothing special. Kids meals good. Breakfast again not enough staff. Scrambled eggs very overcooked and just a big pile on the plate! Everything else OK. Kids loved pancakes. Pool was great but a little cold! Overall good value for money and an enjoyable stay.
