Stayed here for business. Restaurant service is absolutely terrible. Seems to be a lot of difference in the staff and how they deal with customers. They also need training on customer service. It's like a school canteen especially being a foreigner you can feel a sense of carelessness towards you. Breakfast is just ok, always the same nothing special in... More

I use this hotel for business travel, but know they have nice weekend offerings for families, and only 90 km to Amsterdam. The hotel does what a business hotel needs to do, it's efficient, everything works. Above average is the breakfast (try the fresh orange juice), below average is the gym, either upgrade or cancel it. A lot of retirees... More

I always liked this hotel Thought it starts to have some years I like the space of the rooms the large and nice lobby, the classy bar and the fine restaurant It's placed in the countryside facing a small marina In a summer eve like this you can dine outside and really relax I recommend it

Stayed here overnight on a Monday evening - arrived around 7.30pm & surprised how busy the foyer & restaurant was. A lot of seniors appeared to be taking dinner & perhaps some kind of conference. Ate here also - the food was mixed - not bad & also not great - very much standard hotel fare. Good wife & large... More

It is quite difficult to describe how unpleasant my stay here was. Starting with the basics, the main purpose of a hotel room is to provide somewhere to sleep for the night. This is normally done by offering a quiet, secure room with a comfortable bed and variable temperature. It is therefore surprising to find a hotel that offers literally... More

Stayed here on business for a couple of nights. Nice large room with full width window overlooking countryside at the rear and door onto shared terrace area. Good wireless connection for internet. Fitness room with flywheel type spinning bees and cross trainers. Sauna (didn't use it, but it looked good). Large restaurant with good buffet breakfast and excellent evening meal... More

If you need to visit Emmeloord for business meetings, there isn't much to choose from. In any case, the hotel is acceptable, and I can say the staff is really friendly and the breakfast is good. Considering the lack of options in the area, I don't think we would find much better.

We have now stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions. The first time we stayed we had some issues but these were quickly sorted out by the hotel. On this visit we were made to feel extremely welcome, the entire hotel was decorated tastefully for Christmas, it was busy but the staff were attentive when required. We will... More

I stayed with a large party of 65, I e-mailed them prior to attending as I am coeliac, I had a great variety of breakfast foods including croissants which is unusual as I normally am restricted to toast. The service was friendly and room very comfortable.

I have stayed at this Hotel approximately 10 times already this year. Mostly out of necessity due to work and usually for 3 or 4 nights at a time. There are only 2 hotels in Emmeloord anyway. There has been very mixed experiences staying at this Hotel. The rooms are generally ok. Particularly ground floor rooms with doors opening onto... More

“Request a ground floor room with patio door.”
of 5 bubbles Dreamdiving, 17 Aug 2015 | Read review
“As the whole modern building has been built as one project, my impression is that there are probably no 'quirky' rooms. The format includes an impressive bathroom and patio windows onto continuous balconies that also provide an escape route ...so maybe wise to lock the window and consider drawing the nets when changing! Bring your own coffee-making kit, if you're a coffee junkie.”

“I recommand the comfort rooms, they are much bigger than the economy ones and the matresses are better.”
 of 5 bubbles 20hananeb, 25 Sep 2014 | Read review
“I'm not sure if any of the rooms have A/C available, however, there always appears to be a fan stored in the wardrobe if required. Balcony's/terraces are available but be aware that they are open access and therefore you will need to keep the balcony door locked when you are not in the room.”
