We have only stayed for one night but appreciated the big rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast. They also have free wi-fi. If it is only for 1 night stay, plan 10' drive from the highway. Definitely a good value for the money we have paid.

This is a great place to stay. Well appointed, very clean, simply furnished, good sized rooms, many with balconies and terrific views. Good wifi in room. Great food, including breakfasts, and lovely beer garden to relax in. Just 10 mins drive from Passau in a quiet village, nice to get away from the busy tourist areas. Highly recommended!

I looked at booking a hotel in Passau but so glad that we chose to stay in Kellberg. It is about a 15 min drive up a windy road to Kellberg which overlooks the city - just beautiful. We were welcomed and given 2 lovely warm and comfortable rooms. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable. We chose...

Comfortable place to stay, brilliant, functioning shower. Always important! The waitress who served us in the evening was a tad too enthusiastic with clearing plates away and the meal was ok but nothing special. Serving ice with your drinks seems to be a problem and when the waitress eventually got ice out of the tray it went all over the...

We stayed here in May 14. We were on a round Europe trip by motorcycle What superb place this is! Great accommodation, on site bar and restaurant. They are most friendly and welcoming, I wish my German was a little better but we managed to get by. The staff even let us park our bikes in the huge garage. This...

When arriving our daughter got carsick. The staff was really caring and did all the necessary they could. Thanks for that. Restaurant has fair prices for good and fresh food. Rooms & bathroom very good & clean. Ideal price/quality One little thing, the hotel rooms do not have any airco. When we visited (on our way to Hungary) it was...

We loved this guesthouse! Kellberg is a small village a short drive out of Passau in Bavaria. It is in undulating countryside and surrounded by rural properties. The guesthouse is family owned and has been renovated very tastfully in an appropriate style. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We LOVED the food at this place and did not want to...

I asked them, have they got free possibilities for one night ( 12-03-2011) They sent me back an e mail about the prices, and conditions. THEY DIDNT TELL ME: WE ARE CLOSED AT THIS TIME! I sent another mail, with date and persons. I cant get back mail with confirmation. We had 12 hrs driving, and this house is closed......

Charming guesthouse hotel near Passau. In a very small village - a car is necessary. Spotlessly clean and large rooms. No lift. Because of record breaking heat we had to move to a lower floor - no a/c made the top floor uninhabitable. Staff was very accomodating, friendly, and most spoke english. Next door to the village church; loud bells...
